    Default What are you reading?

A quick thread for people to share what they are reading and why..

    I'll start:

Just two seconds (Gavin DeBecker) : a study of documented attacks on protection details and how to identify and prevent them. Brilliant work, learned something from each of his books and conferences. His work with threat profiling matrixes is pretty useful also.

The Traditional Boyer's Bible (Vol I): 'cuz I drew an archery tag for deer this year and am geeking to get out there in a month or so.

I'm on a business trip to Taiwan and picked up Tom Clancy's Against All Enemies without reading the fine print on the cover that showed it was ghost written. Horrible book. Seriously poorly written from both a plot and style viewpoint. I did buy 25 classics for the Nook and I'll start up on those for the flight home.

Reading the "AMERICAN SNIPER", an autobiography of the MOST LETHAL SNIPER in U. S. Military History......
Written by Chris Kyle, a Navy SEAL. Only about 1/4 of the way through the book but it is extremely enjoyable (to me).
Apparently the Pentagon has officially confirmed more than 150 of Kyle's kills and the previous American record was 109.

What Every Body is Saying by Joe Navarro. It's how to rapidly read body language by the guy that was the FBIs top interrogator.

    Currently I'm reading this.
Modern liberalism is based on the idea that reality is obligated to conform to one's beliefs because; "I have the right to believe whatever I want".

"Everything the State says is a lie, and everything it has it has stolen.
    -Friedrich Nietzsche

"Every time something really bad happens, people cry out for safety, and the government answers by taking rights away from good people."
    -Penn Jillette
