    Default Lake George 3-gun

The Lake George Tactical 3-gun/multi-gun matches will start up in April and they run through Oct on the 4th Saturday.

As usual the sign up will run from 8:30 to 9:30 and the match will start directly after the quick range meeting. The cost is $15.

For anyone who has not shot this match before, you can find info at www.coloradocowboys.net and then go to "info about shoots". The website has info about cowboy action matches as well but there is also 3-gun info listed. The matches will be held on the 4th saturday of each month through October at the M Lazy C ranch just outside of Lake George.

If anyone has any questions, please feel free to contact me at 55fmj@comcast.net or send me a pm here on this board.

Can't wait. This is a fun match.

Are you still kicking around the idea of putting some longer-range rifle targets out?

If there's nothing wrong with having to show an ID to buy a gun, there's nothing wrong with having to show an ID to vote.

For legal reasons, that's a joke.

Yes, the longer range targets are still in the works. It probably won't happen by April but the owner of the ranch and I have been discussing where to put a few targets. We have an idea and will try to do something this summer. It will be about 200 to 250 yards. I will keep everyone posted.

If you bring 125 pistol rounds, 100 rifle, 3 boxes of regular shotshells, and about 5 slugs, you will most likely have some left.

Well doesn't that just figure. I was going to finally try my hand at a 3 gun, and I have to work that day.

Anyone else shoot these "heavy metal"? I mean, bigger than 5.56 and with pump, instead of auto shotgun, and .45?

Thank you to everyone who made it out. Everyone seemed to have a great time and everything went smooth. The BBQ brisket was a great way to wrap up the match. The Park County Sheriff's department also had a great time. Thank you to everyone who helped RO this match as well. Without everyone helping out, it would be impossible to do these matches. I will send out the scores tonight.

See you all in October !

    Al
