    Did some shootin today....

....with a spray can that is!!!

I have been wanting to paint this rifle for quite some time now so I finally said screw it and I did it. I wanted the paint to be light and have a somewhat worn look, so the paint is thin but mostly covered.

That came out pretty damn good, nice job!
What did you use on it?

I used Krylon Fusion ultra flat Camo paint on it.

I really dig the way it came out. Its the perfect beater gun and thats what I wanted it to look like.

    What about the ACOG?

Does only the end of the fibre optic need to be protected?

I did mask off the fiber optic on the Acog, I dont know if it is important or not but figured I would mask it anyway.

I added a FDE Ergo grip, and FDE enhanced trigger guard and some FDE ladder rails.

I will try and get some more pics today

    Thanks leatherneck!!

The beauty of the MBUS is they are a universal mount and there really is no wrong or right way to mount them. They are there more for looks than anything really, with the short site radius they offer as they sit they wouldnt be very helpful anyway...lol

Thanks again, took it out yesterday and I was hitting a 12"X12" steel plate at 500 yards with it again!! Not to shabby out of a 14.5" barrel.

I wish I had the balls to do something like that to one of mine. How about splashing on a little black here and there for a sort of "urban camo" look?

I wish Magpul would offer their furniture in a gray color.
