• Second Amendment-oriented views (NRA or gun club membership, holding a CCW permit) check
• Survivalist literature (fictional books such as “Patriots” and “One Second After” are mentioned by name) check, I even have the Foxfire books etc.

You don't understand . . . they are operating as a privately funded intelligence agency under the radar with no oversight . . . they also are well connected with DOJ. The silly website thing with a checklist of "you might be a political extremist if" stuff is a distraction so people do not take them seriously. As far as I know, their actual targets have been very specific. Aside from propaganda like the stupid checklist giving Libtarded relatives and co-workers incentive and "justification" to inform on people like ourselves, they present little actual threat to individuals not actively involved in hate groups.
