So I need a little help because I don't know how to figure out the value of this gun, so first I have a guy wanting to trade me his AR15 for my motorcycle I have for sale on Craigslist, but he said he put the gun together himself so I don't know how to figure out the value of the gun because it has different parts from different manufacturers, the specs he gave me are as followed, New Frontier lower dpms upper, Ar stoner Barrel, colt bolt, yankee hill gas block and flash hider, done up in mag pull furniture. So what do you guys think this is worth? are there anymore question I should ask about it before checking it out, and when I do look at it what are some things I need to pay extra attention to? also I have my bike listed for $1,500. So would this be a good trade? and he also said he's got about $250 worth of ammo to throw in with it.

I wouldn't do it, sounds like an $800 Frankenrifle to me (pre panic).

I'd put it at about $700 before the current craziness. ARs are starting to come back in stock and deals can be found. How many rounds and what type of ammunition does he have?

Welcome by the way.

He didn't specif how many rounds or the type of ammo, just said $250 dollars worth. So im guessing I'll stay away from this one from what has been said, Thanks.

ar prices ar going down and they are everywhere for under 1000 bucks . colts at walmart in nebraska are 1000 bucks , saw an armalite at the show today for 850 and a few frankin ars for around 800 . but i hardly look at them unless they happen to in the rack next to a classic

Tell him you'll knock $500 off the price for the rifle and negotiate from there. Come on here and sell it for $700 and reap the goodwill for not gouging the community. Everyone wins.

Knowing nothing about your end of the deal, maybe he's getting screwed? Mileage, year, how many owners before you, clear title, salvage title. How many times if at all has it been laid down. maintenance records etc.

My bikes in great condition, I'm not the type to screw someone I believe in a fair trade that's why I wanted to know the value of the gun, but just for your curiosity its a 1994 Suzuki katana GSXf 600, 6000 miles, 3rd owner, clear title, I've never laid it down cant speak for previous owners but if they did you cant tell, all plastics are there with no scratches, as for maintenance records I do my own so you just got to trust me. Brand new Battery and full tune up including cleaning the carbs 1month ago for the riding season this year,$1500 is a deal for the bike compared to what I see them going for.

I wouldnt do it. sell the bike for $1200 and you can get a better gun still

Yeah thats what my bottom dollar is for the bike, Had alot of emails on it when I seen the one for the Ar I got excited, glad I came here first instead of making an impulse buy.
