I'd just like to put in a mention of The Reloaders Corner in Arvada. I have no connection, don't even know the guy's name, but I've always had a good experience there and I like to help support the little guys.

It's a very small place, mostly reloading stuff but he also sells guns, looks like mostly used. Stop by and check it out, help support the small gun shop businessman! His health doesn't appear to be that great, so no telling how long we'll have that shop around.

I don't have the addy and phone #, but it's in the phone book. If anybody knows more about the place, pro or con, please say so!

He's a nice guy if you are polite and respectful. He can be grumpy and has been on several occasions when I've been in there. And, I have been in there quite a bit. 3/4 of my reloading stuff came from him. I personally have never had an issue because of what I said in the first line......

You can get some good and so/so deals, so just make sure what you want and know about what it's selling for elsewhere. I usually will pay a little more for something if it's supporting a little shop like him and in fact prefer to shop the little shops just to support them.

His prices are just a little higher than most online sources, but when I factor in shipping plus wait time, I figure it's a wash.

Typical cranky old gunstore coot. That's not necessarily a bad thing as I'm turning into a cranky old coot myself. He's never been rude like so many of them are, but he's also not going to follow you around asking if you need help and telling you about his grandkids.
I live about 5 blocks from his store so there's no reason for me to go anywhere else, even though I'm the type that'll drive 20 miles to avoid someone that pissed me off just once. I don't know if his prices are competitive since I don't usually price shop supplies (a new Dillon progressive maybe, but not a pound of IMR)

problem I had with this guy is I went in on wednesday(my day off) to look at his stock and prices. I found what I wanted, asked him a few questions about it, then told him id be back in on Friday(my pay day) to get it. When I go there Friday, he had raised the price on the reloader by 20 bucks. I asked him about it, and he just shrugged and said prices went up. Wont bother stepping foot in there gain, would rather pay shipping.

Drove by his new location today- "Reloaders Corner" sign still up on the marquee but empty store with "For Lease" sign in window. Asked the coin guy next door and he said the owner passed away a few months ago. Big mess getting everything moved out with the ATF having to work all the guns. Not surprised given his morbid obesity, but still sad. RIP.

Oh man, sad to hear. But I could tell his health wasn't good. I think he had more going on than just obesity.

I always wondered if my last visit to his shop would be my final visit.

Only things I ever bought there were Lee bullet molds, sometimes dies. I liked to buy there because he was local and stocked the stuff, but goddamn it was a PITA drive from Parker.

Is there ANY other places around that have bullet molds in stock?
