Has it seemed windier than usual in Salida this January, February, March and April in Salida?

I was in Salida about a week ago. It didn't seem windy till I got to Monarch Pass.

I did notice that thug gangs of mule deer were wandering aimlessly about town vandalizing private property [LOL]

i was on the arkansas just east of salida two weekends ago and the wind was blowing whitecaps on the river.
