Great, now we feel the need to share everything we see with google. If FB, Twitter, etc isn't bad enough on our privacy.

Those will be implanted surgically, and much smaller within the next 20 years.

Reminds me of the holobands from Battlestar Galactica's spinoff show "Caprica".

So say we all!

I just don't get it either. Facebook freaked me out enough (people I barely knew in high school "friending" me minutes after I created an account... wtf?). I sure as hell aint going upload video of myself doing nothing.

There'd be no need for cameras all over the streets if everyone were made to wear these and the .gov could tap into them - or get playback of the stored video any time they wanted. Excellent use of that new NSA data facility in Utah.

I thought they were going to be a lot cooler kind of augmented reality....these are just a go pro attached to a smart phone

Range finder anyone? Tie it into the bullet that acts like a heat seaking rocket and we got something battle ready!

People will rush to get these. People already paying a lot to have webcams in their homes. When will people figure that anything on the ultraweb is not private. Most of this hi-tech garbage is used to track us with the end result separating us from out money. The rest is used to pacify or control us. Want to buy a discrete tinfoil hat?

So much storage that it almost equals a petaflop. Yea I can see that working well.

That was an obvious and natural use of such a device. Instant google search on everyone you see.

I have some friends with these -- and I mock them incessantly when they wear them.

Coming soon to a TSA agent near you.

Check out Google contacts (as in the ones you put in your eye). While cool tech it isn't far away from Google glass you can't see someone is wearing.

I'm willing to bet that my first interaction with these will be from some door to door solicitor trying to get me sign this or vote on that.

People will rush to get these.

-and each new generation of the device will cause long lines outside of vendor locations so that people can be the first to have the latest version.

It's like smartphone, all over again.

People actually bought those things?

I wonder: Put an optic on your rifle that has a bluetooth camera on it. Play the realtime video through the google glass, for the whole shoot around the corner scenario without being exposed.
