A friend of mine had his last flight in the Military recently after 20+ years. We call them "Fini" flights.

Here is a video of his low pass over the flightline. There is some colorful language in there...

No animals or regulations were violated in the making of this video.

Miss that guy.

Nice pass! That had to be a little emotional..... Knowing you would (possibly) never be doing that again!

KICKASS! Nice way to end it. Time to move on to something else.

That is awesome and that just reminded me of my last day onboard the Mighty U.S.S. Briscoe and me tossing my white dixie cup (hat)
off the fantail right before I left the ship.

Cool video Hoser. Thanks for posting. A 130 went right over my house yesterday. I was wondering if it was you.

Awesome... make sure you let your buddy know that most slurry bomber pilots are former AF pilots, ya know, if he wants another kickass job. [Beer]

Very cool stuff! All they do for our guys is have the fire guys shoot a couple water cannons over them! Passengers don't like low passes for some reason.

Very nice. I remember clearly the last 'cruise' on the Honolulu (SSN718) and the last time I walked away from her. Not easy to leave something that has been so integral in your life for so long.

My last flight as a blackhawk crewchief at Drum I got to sit in the CP seat while the CW2 sat in the crew seat and I got to fly the bird. We buzzed the tower and pulled up while pushing the throttle to almost max which causes vibrations in the blades and makes a terrible noise if you are under the aircraft.

Fini Flights are always a little emotional. Hard to leave it behind.

I waved... We were not as low as I wanted.

Mike was one of our MAFFS pilots, now he is a lead plane pilot for the Forest Service. You would be amazed how many civilian Air Tanker Pilots have never served in the Military.

Saw that yesterday. Looked like it was coming from a buzz around pikes peak and headed to the field. The only reason I noticed was because when I looked up I saw the whole top of the aircraft and thought it odd.[Flower] About 1430 or so.

I've seen a few fini fly-bys by vipers at Hill that were pretty neat, but there's just something about a big airplane going fast at low altitude that makes them more fun to watch....very cool. Thanks for sharing Hoser....
