If I was not doing a Veterans Day Fly-by I would be there. If it gets cancelled or pushed to Sunday, I am in. I can bring my little supressed PS90 or my AR in 300 Whisper. I have yet to shoot either in a match.

Hi guys

I had a couple of questions regarding the rifle side match for this weekends shoot.

Can you bring any type of rifle? I have an AK that I would like to try and shoot the match with, is that ok? Are there magazine capacity limits? Should I bring multiple magazines? Any restrictions on type of ammo (I'll be shooting wolf 7.62x39)

Thanks,
Shaun

It's Colorado, things can change in a hurry. Just hope that whatever they got from the last few days is gone by then and no wind. Make your prayers to the weather gods now boys and girls.

I managed to get the weekend off, so I am planning on being there. Still not sure if I can shoot. ($$$). Trying to bring in a couple more people as well.

I have not heard any mention of a cancel and wfsorge did not post a cancel note here. So, that means it is on.

I did, pretty cool. Not quite my cup of tea, but fun.

Glad you had fun. Thats the important part.

It is definitely different from any of the other games out there. I have to really work on switching gears from go fast and get the hits to go fast and try to hide behind cover and dont drop mags, ect...

Thats my biggest issue. Their theory of 'cover', 'slicing the pie' and a few other issues is kind of bizarro world. Bad habits imho.

Yup I made it up there. I did not shoot all that well (at least as well as I know I can), and had my traditional -10 FTN in round 2...WIFFFFF.

As cloudy as it was, I should have brought my corrective night vision (clear safety glasses). The day vision was a bit excessive.

Got to shoot in the Rifle side match (loaner again) and did fairly well there, though I think my time was a bit long.

OK, now just happy thoughts on the December shoot.
