A friend of mine is at Denver Bullets right now, and the guy there said that Obama signed an EO effectively banning the importation of ammunition today (April 25th).
I can't seem to find anything online about this exactly, just articles about what Obama MIGHT do or WANTS to do. Has anyone read anything about something happening today?
Maybe the guy at Denver Bullets was trying to hustle my bud and get him to buy some 7.62x39? He offered it to my friend for $450 a case. My bud told him he just bought a case from ammoman.com for $375.

Haven't seen anything about a new executive order on ammunition.

No, he didn't sign an EO banning imports on ammo today, he signed an EO that sets the ground work to allow the AG and or ATF to ban imports of ammo or any gun parts "designed for military use".
Here's the ATF bulletin on it (http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2013-04-22/pdf/2013-09392.pdf) (PDF warning)
And here's an article on it. (http://www.examiner.com/article/after-senate-setback-obama-quietly-moving-forward-with-gun-regulation)
Basically where we're headed is an eventual ban on the importation of all guns, ammo, magazines, parts, etc. All without Congressional oversight.

Read those...what a mother fuc*ker. I can't even stand to hear his condescending voice any more.
This is not a good sign but it also is not "action". It is the precursor to action of which we have yet to see.
