My roommate and I are going to reverse picket Tanner tomorrow. Our messages will be pro gun and anti-liberal policies. We will probably stand across from the lady that pickets for assault weapons ban. This is where the cars enter to find parking near Taco Juans. Of course we will show no disrespect. I don't want to be a Evie Hudak!
This is not my style. I don't like blasting my opinions on others. Libs sure seem to though. I think we need some more exposure. Plus, it will get people in the mood for the show!
Something like:
- Honk if you refuse to be a victim.
- You're safer home invading my neighbor, he doesn't own a gun.
I got a bunch more.
I'm shy so this is out of my comfort zone. I think it will be good for me though.
If you want to join us, go for it. We will start around 8:15.

I think this is a cool idea! If I'm down that way I will look for you! [Beer]
I'll keep an eye open for you too.
How about making a sign that says something like:
# of Children killed daily:
Abortion: 3,500
Guns: 12
or whatever the current numbers are.
Make it short but obvious.

My signs are no where near finished. It's taking much longer than expected. It's going to have to be later.

Card board and Magic marker. How long that take, it isn't an art project. Granted it shouldn't look like a meth addled treatise either.

You're a gun owner the MSM already knows your lack of grammar and breeding is questionable.

I did Not see any picketing on behalf of either side. Did I miss something?

The OP couldn't find a crayon and cardboard[LOL]
The most often used "cliche" for gun proponents is
NOBODY
EVER RAPED A

Nor did I. As I was leaving, there were 6 police cars lining the east side of the entrance road, just north of the taco place. There was one LEO on foot about 25 yards from the 58th intersection where the picketers usually convene, but I did not see any signs and I saw no evidence of why that many police cars were there all clustered together....

I'm not sure about the police. Maybe they read this thread. None the less, I failed miserably. I can't believe how difficult it is to make a sign. I was trying to use MS Office to print banners. I needed MS Publisher, I'm pretty sure.
After getting it all printed out the gluing looked like crap.
Yes, I could have used a marker, but I wanted something more uniform, since I can't write big letters uniformly. I contacted Kinko's Saturday morning, but they want $10 per square foot for large printed decals. I had 2 signs with 4 sides total. Each side was 20x30. That's about $160!
I guess I go with the marker route. Or maybe stencils and spray paint.
I don't know about you guys, but I'm giving myself a second chance. I just need another venue....

Dry Erase Board. Lay it out with a stencil then go to town. Keep all Capital letters the same size, ditto for lower case. By utilizing the Web you can do a basic graph that centers and sets the "type" to give you a clean looking poster. Or you can use a Square to line & center the lettering.
Basic english / Handwriting 101
Anyone forget this graph from elementary school
