Just curious, it's been a while since I've been able to attend an IDPA match up in Idaho Springs, but has anyone noticed a lack of numbers showing up to these matches due to the ammunition shortage? I would guess the numbers have dropped off but again, it's been a long time since I've been to a match.

At the competitions I've been to, round counts have been mercifully and drastically reduced. It's definitely nice not to use tons of precious ammo, but then again it's not nice because the whole reason you're there is to shoot, right? At some point only firing 50rds in 4 hours loses its luster.

Wow...yeah, I remember shooting a blind stage one afternoon years ago and one of the range/safety officers said, "Load every spare magazine you got for this stage." Guess those days are gone for a while. I really can't say I blame them with all the nonsense going on right now. I definitely see your point regarding people kind of getting bored with the stages.

No reductions around here.

Most competitive shooters are reloaders and tend to have lots on hand.

No reduction I've seen. In fact, so many I'm looking for other matches. Unfortunately couldn't make the match today.
