I have 4 extra Avalanche tickets for tonight's game. Anyone want them? Game starts at 5:30. The tickets are in the nosebleeds, but you can't beat the price. Section 316, Row 9, Seats 7-10. Send me a PM and we'll figure out where/when to meet.

Welp, the Avs lost, but I still had a good time.
Can't wait for next season! Go Avs and GO TIGERS!!!
I'm always up for a hockey game (no matter which two teams are playing). That being said... GO BLUES!!! Looks like we'll have the Kings in the first round. I'd like a little retribution for last season, but they've had our number. It will be a tough matchup!

Haha yea the playoffs were awesome. Go Kings Go!
Avs fans are pretty accommodating to away team fans. Outside of just the occasional ribbing for sporting my Blues gear (which you should expect at a minimum)... they've all been very nice. I loved that LET'S GO BLUES chant last Sunday at the Pepsi Center! =) Lots of Blues fans in town.
The only time I've ever seen Avs fans really get out of control was three years ago when they were last in the playoffs. You guys were playing the Sharks. I don't remember which game in the series (I went to two of them... it was one of the two overtime games) but there was a Sharks fan sitting with his wife a row in front of me. He was quite the entire game... never made a peep and then when the Sharks scored to win it in overtime he stood up and went "yes". That was it! Extremely tame. But some Avs fan two rows behind me saw that as reason enough to throw an entire beer on him and his wife.
But outside of that one incident... and this one time in club level where some drunk girl kept screaming over and over for 2 of the 3 periods: "take your SHOE off and cut him with it" hehe, the fans here have been pretty good. Some of the nicest fans really. I've been to games in arenas all over the country. The worst fans or the place where you'll get the most heckling and most likely to get in a fight if you don't watch it... would be Chicago. Many moons ago, when I lived in St. Louis and TWA was still around... I would do the $49 round trip to Chicago to watch the Blues/Blackhawks play. They didn't use to call that the Black & Blue series for nothing!!! Vancouver is another one. Nicest people outside the stadium... biggest assholes inside the stadium. I would have loved to catch a Maple Leafs game when we were in Toronto but we were there out of season. Got to go to the HHoF though... the same year they inducted Al MacInnis. It was SWEET! It was cool getting to see "Saint Patrick" Roy's exhibit. I was always a big fan from back in his Habs days.
