Took the fiance out shooting this weekend with another couple. Brought an array of options for her. 20 gauge, 12 gauge, ar-15, etc. After some persuasion, she decided to try out the ar-15 even though it was the "big gun". Well, after one fire, she fell in love. "The AR-15 is my favorite!" She now fully grasps why they're so popular and well liked through out the firearm community. Unfortunately, now she wants her own. [Bang]

Good work! I am still trying to get my wife to go out shooting with me. I imagine she would like the AR also

Try to get her a normal AR instead of the pink furniture "Hello Kitty" version...

You might want to hold off a bit, just a little while. I have something coming that will blow the socks of some people....

A place down kinda near Woodland Park.

Thanks Simon! It's amazing how people change with a little bit of real world experience/knowledge.

I've been keeping an eye out for yours. Let me know because I would like to surprise her with a new toy next time we go. :)

Very cool! Glad she enjoys shooting and that is the most excellent shirt she has on!

The more we bring people who have never shot a gun out with us and make it enjoyable the more we will reap the rewards at the ballot box. Perfect job not forcing the issue and letting her decide when she was ready. I hate seeing jerks think it is funny to give a little woman a 44Magnum and then laugh when it freaks them out. Ruins them from guns after that.

Just don't buy her an M&P 9c unless you want her to run off to California with another girl.

That is how I lost my first SAR3 way back when. The wife shot it and said "Mine". Even though she did 4 years in the Army in line units she still likes the AK over the AR. [Dunno]

Yup my wife never was around guns until I came around. Now she has her own ar(rra coyote special), 870 express, walther p22, and soon her own ruger 10/22. It's good and bad.

My soon to be bride was pissed when I brought home my AR. She was pissed that I've bought 2 guns for myself since the last time I bought one for her. Looks like I'll be purchasing a 9mm in the near future...

I understand the feeling. My girl friend just shot my 14.5 last week I've been working on, and loves it.
Now she wants one in OD green. I caught her on Pinterest going through AR-15 pictures of the ones she wants now....Crap!!! [Bang]
