I'm sitting on a few.
Sportsmans Guide...I've made about 5 orders with them. The first went backorder and I cancelled, the rest have all been delivered in a reasonable time.
Just after the panic started I looked around for normally priced pieces. I ordered, the upper and build kit from Palmetto State, which came in as scheduled. I ordered a lower which came in as scheduled, and I ordered a BCG from Sportsmans guide. Everything came in as scheduled, except the BCG. I got a notice that they would be backordered until March. No problem. Then in March I got a notice that they were backordered until May. OK, still not a real problem. Then in April I got a notice that they were backordered until August...WTF.
Alexander Arms. I decided to prep my rifles for suppressors, and searched and searched for someone with the 51T mounts. I ordered them from Alexander Arms, they didn't list the ones I actually wanted in .308(Brake), but they did list the flash hiders, and I mistakenly took the fact that they didn't list Brakes, but did list Flash hiders as an indicator that they stocked these items. I was apparently wrong, I have received nothing but an order confirmation, in February.
Who else is sitting on Backorders?
My December order from Botach was cancelled by them in March. I re-ordered from Mid-west shooters and still waiting for it.
**100rd's of 6.8 brass is the only thing still on back-order. They are just holding my other items, unless I want to pay double shipping.
Been waiting for a couple months on some Magpul furniture. No big surprise really given what they're going through.
I thought my back ordered 4 Pmags from Midway USA back in December was cancelled (I received an email with for the cancellation and everything), but all 4 mags showed up at my doorstep last week haha. Oh well, I was only charged $12.30 a piece for them so I'll keep'em.
Some AR scope rings from Optics Planet, that said when I ordered in stock, and on the web page still say in stock but emails and phone calls tell me out of stock.
.458 SOCOM upper from RRA. Said it was a 4-5 month lead time when I called, so I was like "OK, no problem." Got an email yesterday saying indefinite now and it's still a 20% cancellation fee.
Few group buys for ammo here and another with someone I thought I trusted. The GB's here I'm less worried about, but the other one I got in for 5k rounds back in December for Lake City 5.56 green tip at $280/1k shipped. Got bumped to Feb due to Sandy Hook and panic, no real problems, or so I thought. Then bumped to April and now bumped to June.
Got 1 at Sportmans Guide that keeps getting pushed back. Early Feb, then 20 Apr now its up to 5 Jun
Botach has been on BO forever but I ordered a lot of pistol mags so that was expected.
Other than that I think I got everything else.

I haven't bought a ton but haven't really experienced any long backorders. I figured that my BCG from Windham would take a while but I had it in my hands in a couple of weeks.
My Brownells backorder of 10 Pmags in 5.56 shipped yesterday, ordered on 12/26. Still have B/O at Ruger, S&W, ProMag, and Sportsmans Guide.

I'm getting a lot from Dec
Just one. I ordered a flash hider, carbine spring, and ambi safety from Windham on 4/19. The FH held up the order, but after a 1minute phone call yesterday, the spring and ambi safety are en route. The fh will be sent when it arrives from manufacture, to my address in a separate box, shipped free of charge.
All other orders have been fulfilled.
I canceled one NP3 BCG order in March, but have never canceled any prior or since with any company.

An order from DPMS from 11/25/2012.
An order from RGuns from 02/16/2013.
I no longer need any of the items I ordered. I still want some of them. But, I haven't been charged so if it gets here fine, if it doesn't that's fine, too.

You're normally not charged until it ships, so if any part of that order that you no longer need, includes something you don't want to pay for again.... you know what to do.

Lots of stuff from Brownells in Dec: S&W mags, Glock barrel, Glock mags.
Backorders:
* PPQ Magazine from The General Store in Osakis, MN since December
* PRi 223 mags from PRi since March
* 357 Mag brass from Starline since March
* 175gr SMK's for 308 from Manventure Outpost since today (they filled one box of 500 then told me the other is on B/O for a June delivery)
Many of the vendors I use do not take B/O's, so I have a LOAD of auto-notices set to let me know when things (reloading components mostly) become available to order. It is still a tough market to find things like Varget and just about any primers. Persistence pays.
4 17rd glock factory mags from botach ordered Feb 26. Hope they come one of these days?????

You obviously haven't read RGuns order cancellation policy. And I know there are lots of places that don't charge until an order ships (or goes into shipping). But there are plenty of places, PSA being one of them, that charge as soon as you place the order even though it may not ship for 7-10 days or more. But, again...when it gets here, it gets here. Nothing I need but some stuff I still want.
