I hope at least one of the recalls succeeds.

If just one succeeds that's all it will take for them to realize that they're walking a fine line with every piece of legislation they bring to the table... I don't see that as a bad thing at all.

Agreed, i am all for the efforts and have contacted everyone i know in those three districts to go and sign. Just afraid of the possible consequences if they all fail.

If you live in a recall district, get out and sign!

I can't wait to see Hudak go down in flames. Party at my place if she does.

We're a little behind where we need to be in the Morse recall ... by all means, tell anyone you know who is registered to vote in Senate District 11 to come by the gun show this weekend or go by Specialty Sports, the Shooting Den, Whistling Pines Gun Club or our other location and SIGN THE PETITON! If you're not sure you signed the right petition, sign with us -- we're doing QC checks to eliminate double or suspect signatures!

I signed the Hudak recall at Tanner on Saturday, they had a few signatures already for being the beginning of the day.

I talked to the folks at Specialty Sports working the Morse recall. They said they need signatures. So if you live in that district get off your duff.

Do you have to do anything special to get signatures, or can you just pick up a form? I am about a mile out of Hudak's district, but most of my family lives there and most of them are like minded and would probably like to see her gone.

District 19... does that cover Brighton? I'm not all that familiar with how the districts in CO are apportioned. I have several friends in Brighton who would sign happily...

cofi, can't do it that way. Only people that could have voted for him/her count so only registered voters in Senate District XX (11 for Morse) count on the recall petitions. You can donate or volunteer for the recalls but you can only sign if you could have voted for/against the legislator in question. Also, the petitions have a spot where the collector signs (in front of a notary public) that s/he personally witnessed all the signatures on the petition so it's not something you can just leave on the counter somewhere.

However, if you know anyone in one of the affected Senate Districts who has NOT yet signed a recall petition, get on his or her case to get it done NOW.

Anyone who has questions about where they are registered -- or IF they are registered -- can go to http://www.govotecolorado.com/ and find out or register to vote. Anyone who just moved into Senate District 11 can register now and sign a petition to remove the piece of human waste occupying the Colorado Senate President's office.

We need the following valid signatures to get recall elections going:

Mike McLachlan (House District 59): 10,587 [Deadline: 5/21]John Morse (Senate District 11): 7,178 [Deadline: 6/3]Angela Giron (Senate District 3): 11,285 [Deadline: 6/10]Evie Hudak (Senate District 19): 18,962 [Deadline: 6/10]

HD 34: Steve Lebsock. His campaign website doesn't mention a party affiliation, but plays up his support for civil unions and collective bargaining and health care as a right for all. And only one House democrat voted right and he was way the hell off almost to Nebraska, so it ain't him. I haven't heard of a recall campaign on him.

SD 24: Lois Tochtrop. The only Democrat who voted against both the unversal regis^H^H^H^H^H BGC and the magazine ban. Besides, she's term-limited anyway. (And the mere fact that, even as a Democrat, she could get invited to the Independence Institute summer barbecue as an actual guest instead of being the food, endears her to me somewhat.)

Got this from RMGO this morning and could not believe my eyes:

APersonal Note from Dudley Brown

Dear xxxxx,

I am personally contacting you today to let you know how you can help retire one of Colorado’s gun-grabbers.

A large, grassroots effort to recall State Senator Evie Hudak is now underway. Democrat Senator Hudak is one of Colorado’s leaders forgun control.

With your help, we can remove her from office.

In case you need a reminder ofjust how anti-gun Senator Hudak really is, keep this in mind:

She voted for every piece of anti-gun legislation shehas had the opportunity to vote for.
She co-sponsored HB-1228, the tax on all new gun purchases, and HB-1229, which criminalizesall private transfers of firearms.
She helped drive Magpul and other firearms specialty companies out of Colorado.
Perhaps most memorably, she had the audacity to badger a rape victim during a committee hearing, lecturing her that a gun wouldn’t havehelped her because “statistics are not on your side.”

President Obama and billionaire Mayor Mike Bloomberg aremaking Colorado ground zero in the fight for gun control.

Recalling gun-grabbing Senator Hudak will send a message toObama, Bloomberg, and all politicians that patriotic Americans will not tolerate those who seek to undermine our 2nd Amendment rights.

However, we can’t get this done without your help. The recall effort needs volunteer help and signatures to get the job done.

First, the recall effort needs signatures of registered voters in Westminster and Arvada. If you are a registered voter inHudak’s district, please make sure you sign the petition.

You can find locations at www.RecallHudak.org (http://paracom.paramountcommunication.com/ct/12560180:15475261501:m:1:436611431:10C4E96EC762D41 AB703A81085230FBC:r) or at the Recall Hudak Facebook group (http://paracom.paramountcommunication.com/ct/12560181:15475261501:m:1:436611431:10C4E96EC762D41 AB703A81085230FBC:r).

Second, the Hudak recall effort also needs volunteers to canvas neighborhoods and public areas to obtain petition signatures. Volunteer turnout is critical to the success of this effort. You can volunteer at www.RecallHudak.org (http://paracom.paramountcommunication.com/ct/12560180:15475261501:m:1:436611431:10C4E96EC762D41 AB703A81085230FBC:r). NOTE: You don't have to reside in Hudak's district to volunteer.

The recall effort is large, well organized and carried out entirely by unpaid volunteers. Whether you can contribute an hour, a day or a weekof your time, recall organizers would like to hear from you.

Remember, we can’t get this done without the help ofgun rights supporters like you.

For Freedom,
