I'm still trying to figure out why the police are involved. Follow the link for the pictures.

EPSOM, N.H. — A New Hampshire man claims he is out his life savings after an ill-fated trip the carnival.
Henry Gribbohm, 30, said he went to a Manchester carnival intent on winning an Xbox Kinect at a game called Tubs of Fun, where contestants win prizes by tossing balls into a tub. He said it seemed easy when he practiced, but the balls kept popping out when he was playing for keeps.
"It's not possible that it wasn't rigged," Gribbohm told CBS Boston (http://boston.cbslocal.com/2013/04/29/nh-man-loses-life-savings-on-carnival-game/)
Gribbohm said he spent $300 trying to win double or nothing at the game. He then went home to get another $2,300, which he soon lost.

"They explained to me I was going to get all my money back, I was going to get an Xbox Kinect, and because I was keeping everybody's attention, they were still going to give me a banana. They lied to me," Gribbohm told WMUR (http://www.wmur.com/news/nh-news/man-says-he-was-taken-for-ride-at-carnival/-/9857858/19946194/-/vd3pcf/-/index.html).
When he returned the next day to ask for his money back, he was given $600 and a large stuffed banana with dreadlocks.
Police were unable to locate the carnival employee who had been working the game, but Fiesta Shows, the New Hampshire-based company that runs the carnival, claims Gribbohm spent far less than $2,300.
Gribbohm filed a police report with Manchester police, who said the investigation is ongoing.
"It will be assigned to the detective division, but where it goes from here is uncertain right now," Manchester police Lt. Mike Hurley told the Union Leader (http://www.unionleader.com/article/20130429/NEWS03/130429154&template=mobileart). "It may be difficult to track the people down, because I believe they may be from out of state, but the detectives will get started on it this week. We'll see how it plays out."

How much would the XBox Kinect have cost him if he would've just gone to Wal-Mart?

Duude, don't you know? You can't just WALK into a store and BUY an Xbox Kinect... You have to WIN one, they only released a limited quantity...

That guy was stupid, probably drunk or high on something when he gambled away all his money on something he could have had if he just went to a store. His fault, no one else's.

The XBox shortage is because DHS is hoarding them. In FEMA camps.

I'm still trying to figure out why the police are involved.

Probably because of the claim that the game was rigged. If there is any truth to it, he may have a case.

It doesn't absolve him of being a fracking moron though.

Being that dumb, I'm surprised that he didn't go to a bank and take out a loan. I mean, he was on such a roll and it was for an X-box of all things.......dumb-ass.

I am with you,

Then I thought of these two; "Stupid is as Stupid does." and "We must let stupid people be to do stupid things in hopes they learn, increase their knowledge or allow them to self-eliminate their stupid gene from the Gene pool." Annynomous

According to the story I saw, Einstein lost $300 on this game, went home and grabbed the rest of his life savings of $2300 and lost that. Lets start a collection to get this guy a vasectomy so he cant pass the genes off to a next generation. As Bugs Bunny would say, "What a Morroon!"
