Due to the upcoming legislation in your state, unfortunately we cannot ship any high capacity magazines over 15rds to Colorado due to our Company Policy.
At this time I will void the order, your card was never charged. Thank you for your
interest in cdnnsports.com (http://cdnnsports.com/). We do hope to do business with you!

Thank You,

CDNN Sports, Inc.

Any one else have this happen with other suppliers? [Rant2]

It's for your own good. You can't be trusted with magazines of a higher capacity. We had to do something. We'll all be safer.

Can't blame the companies for our stupid laws. I ordered a bunch of G17 mags from CDNN right after the bills passed. They guy on the phone let me know that they would most likely be putting restrictions on shipping to CO soon.

My friend also had his bx25 order cancelled.

Primary Arms had done this but was contacted that the actual effect date was July 1st on mags and they changed their restriction.

Its not irrational for a company to begin restricting sales before the effective date. They don't want to have an order in their system get backordered and mistakenly shipped past the effective date of the legislation or shipped just before and delivered after.

We'd best get used to it, we have just ten weeks left until it's not just CDNN anymore, it's every company.

Aim surplus has not changed their policy as of yet, thank you Aim. FYI if you look you'll find some of the best prices on factory Glock mags too bad they have a 5 per limit.

Good thing I got all my mags from them already.. and sent them a nasty email in response to their new policy.

Midway and Brownells are still shipping to us.

They did this to me as well on some Ruger 10/22 mags. Jack offs. I didn't even get an explanation.

Harsh times are just beginning my friends. Sit back and watch it happen or take charge and do something! The road goes on forever and the battle never ends! Never give up, the future is yet to be made!!!!!!

Yes it sucks. But I hope we can all remember that it isn't the companies we need to blame and try to fix. It is our legislators.

I disagree that it is necessary to restrict this far ahead of the restriction...They HAVE to know that we're trying to get stuff in under the ban.

Yep. Midway just filled a BO from Dec that had a 17rd mag in it. Kind of shocked as I had forgot about it. But I have a bunch of 110gr .308 bullets on the way. [Flower]

I visited the Ammo2U website today, as I received an email about some ammo going up for sale.

I saw this LINK on the home page
(http://www.ammo2u.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=73&Itemid=73)Read This Article Before Ordering (http://www.ammo2u.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=73&Itemid=73)CO, CT, and NY Residents Click Here (http://www.ammo2u.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=73&Itemid=73)

Then under the dropdown for Federal, State & Local Laws I saw this:

"We comply with ALL Local, State, and Federal laws. AS A PRIVATE COMPANY WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE BUSINESS TO ANYONE WE CHOOSE.

We will not sell the below listed items to their respective states:"

and further down...

Colorado
- We have ceased all shipments to the state of CO at this time

They are trying to make a point for all firearms and ammunition sellers/resellers to boycott states that have enacted unreasonable gun laws, such as NY, California, and (I'm sorry to say) Colorado.

I have mixed opinions on this ... I can kind of see their side, and the prohibited buyer's side.
I am disappointed, but can also respect them for trying to make a point.
To me, it appears that they are trying to incite their customers, who are residents of the "NO SHIP TO" states, to take action with the respective state government, and work towards repairing the state laws or "No Ammo for you....NEXT!

Mods: As always, please merge where appropriate if I missed a previous article, or if there is a more suitable post I missed in my search.

Just saw this myself...
We are currently not selling or shipping ammunition to the states of CO, CT, and NY because of new gun legislation in these states.  If you have an issue with this new policy please talk with your state government about the new legislation.

While I agree with their decision to do this and I appreciate them directing the blame to the true source of the problem, it still sucks for us.

So, basically the opposite of Magpul's stance, which is to put Colorado gun owners first in line to get new mags.
As if Colorado gun owners don't realize the laws are bad, and they need to provide us some incentive?
I say Ef-Em.

Like we have not done this already. Sucks to be us I guess, they can do what they want.

Maybe they're trying to help the Fudds feel the burn, too? Keep ammo scarce, and Mr "I don't think anyone need assault weapons as long as I got my <X> gun" gets a wakeup call when he can't find any ammo to buy?

CO is just another blue slave state now.

Why should it be different then NJ/NY/CA etc ?

And if our state government doesn't listen to us or that little thing we used to call reason? Yeah, okay, I say we fight dirty, we fight mean, and we fight tooth and nail- get this crap overturned. And if that fails, well at least I know WY is gun friendly and not too far to come back here to visit family. Being an anti-gun democrat should constitute a felony.

Perhaps that is their plan? I don't fault them for it at all.

Not sure why ammunition sellers would need to put us on priority.. no ammo has been banned. We're not more special than the rest of the country when it comes to needing ammo.

Not shipping ammo here is stupid.
The people ordering it obviously don't support much, if any, of what has gone down.
Did I mention this is stupid?

I called CDNN/Target Sports to place a order but they will no longer ship 15+ round mags here.

I explained how the law will not be in place until June 1st be I got a B.S. liability response.

I assume that this will be the normal response around here over the next few weeks BEFORE the ban.

Just a heads up.

AND thanks again Magpul for your CO only sale!

I unsubscribed from CDNN's emailer as well, and added in the reason for unsubscribing....

Will not ship to Colorado before ban has been enforced.
Ban does not take place until June 1st.
There is NO liability for sales prior to the ban.

I will NEVER buy any product from this company again.

I merged the AMMO2U & CDNN threads and moved them to the Sticky Forum (Stuck on You).

While we can all appreciate the intent behind this sort of move by these retailers (putting pressure on the states/localities that have taken a decidedly anti-2A stance), it will create a negative impact to those of us who disagree with this sort of legislation and are continuing to fight for our Rights.

While I know it will be painful for us, I actually agree with the positions these companies are taking - I would likely do the same thing if I were in their shoes. To correct this, we all need to ramp up our efforts to remove the elected officials who have waged war against our Rights.

In the mean time, this thread will exist to save our members the aggravation of attempting to order products from a vendors who we can not buy from while still living under these unConstitutional laws.

Not shipping mags...I understand that as it removes the potential for an "illegal" item getting delivered after July 1st. When do you all think they should cut off sales? One month before? One week? One day? They have to do it sometime. What if they allow orders two weeks before, the package gets lost in the mail and then gets delivered AFTER July 1st? I have some pistol mags on backorder. If I don't get them this month, I am going to cancel the order.

Not shipping ammo to CO...this I don't agree with. It won't hurt me because I reload, but who are they making a point against with this policy? The traders who voted for the law? Nope, this policy won't hurt them, in fact it will make them happy. If they could make a law making ammo illegal they would. But with policies like this they don't have to.

Vendors should just keep a "watch list". If a trader FUDD politician who voted 'yes' tries to order a box of 30-06 before hunting season, then every gun store on the planet should cancel that order. But this policy just makes it hard for the good guys too.

Is there a record for thread revivals? I know it's been 5 years, but I ran into a shop that will not ship firearms here at all. On the Walther forums there was a post for a P99 at clearance prices. $200 less than anyone else. Everyone was buying them up like hotcakes. I was all set to order and then saw this at the bottom of the page:

**Disclaimer: Shoot Straight Inc. Does NOT engage in the sale of firearms to the following states:**
Alaska, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington D.C.
