The wife says it is time for a new mattress set. I know technology has changed a lot since we bought the last one. Does anyone have a recommendation for great mattress?
Avoid Sleep Number like the plague...black mold issues in the air tubes...pump issues. Not that happy with Denver Mattress any more either...comfort issues. Mattress king has good deals on Serta...bought one a couple weeks ago to replace Denver Mattress...comfy damned bed.
Memory foam all the way! I have not had a better nights sleep since, shitty part is you cannot sleep on a spring mattress anymore. Bought our king 7 years ago and its still holding up (not sagging, not deformed, etc)

i have a "telluride" from Denver Mattress and like it. I slept on a temper-pedic at a hotel last summer and believe that's what i'll get next time.

Ive got a memory foam from bedinabox.com highly recommend if you like foam. As far as that goes try and sleep on one somewhere first as they're warmer than a innerspring and you kind of sink down into it. It's a love it or hate it kind of thing.
Memory foam holds in the heat something fierce. Not good if you or the Mrs. are a blast furnace.
When it was time for us to get a mattress, we selected the one that was firm enough to crack our backs as we lay down on it. I think it's a Serta.
Remember to haggle on the price of the mattress. Most mattress stores are willing to work on pricing.
Temper-Pedic. Best bed ever IMHO. 25yr warranty and will replace if it sags more than 3/4"!!
Just like anything, dont pay sticker [Beer]

uh.. do you do it on the floor, kitchen, pantry closet and so on then? Because memory foam just isn't built for the fun time.

This.
I've had mine for a year after coming off a back injury and a matress isn't a matress isn't a matress, folks. I'm a damn furnace and had a couple warm bodied gals in it...not an issue. Worth every penny IMO.

I have the serta memory foam and like it a lot. If I were buying again I'd go with tempurpedic. But definitely try memory foam out first. My brother in law bought the Denver mattress memory foam and hates it.

Ken you dont know how to have fun!
If the checkbook is willing, get a Hastens - They are worth what they cost....but it costs a good bit more than Temper-pedic:

ummm there's no need for a mattress in the dungeon.
Just remember, all memory foam is not he same. There is a reason why most who go this route choose Temper-Pedic, they may cost a bit more, but believe me they are worth it. Buy some cheap imitation and you will be sorry!
