Or, at least that's how I feel right now sipping on a bottle of Boone's Farm Strawberry Hill.

Sucks not having any beer in the house.

Boone's Farm, Annie Green Springs and Mad Dog 20-20. Brings back (partial) memories. Those were the days. A long, long time ago.

I'd feel less girly if I had some Mad Dog.

Of course I'd also feel like I was drinking turpentine.

Holy crap!!

I hope you have like 9 bottles!!

Used to to do a barefoot tournament every year, Nation figure 8 Tournament. We did ski team challenges, Boones Farm drink offs. 5 people from each team, 2 minutes, how many bottles. We held the record, 16 bottles. So effing gross!

Wait, why is there Boone's in your house in the first place?

ray1970
05-05-2013, 19:18
It was either this or drive about 1/4 mile to get beer.

Does that make me lazy?

I've got that covered. I have a 25 year old daughter, a wife (who's age will remain a secret), and a 22 year old potential daughter in law that practically lives here.

My buddies and I did a "whino tour" once. We went and bought just about everything the homeless drink and tried it all.... Thunderbird, Night Train, Mad Dog 20/20, Ripple, and whatever else.

Kind of surprised we still have livers.

Night train was the first thing that ever made me puke. Think I was 18 at the time.[Puke]

Since I started brewing my own, I have not fallen into this very same instant panic. I have about 20 gals in storage now.

At first I thought the effort to brew would not be worth the time, but after you get the process down, it is not too bad. I think I had abut 200 for start up.

Anytime fellas. ;)

A respectable supply of Ruination IPA is a constantly circulating portion of my prepper provisions. Can't be relegated to Bud Light ever again.

200 for startup.... then another few bucks here for a mash tun, another little bit for hot liquor tank, another little bit for a 150k btu burner.... Then, you end up working at a homebrew supply store and its adjoining microbrewery for store credit to pay for your part time hobby, all in addition to your normal full time job and finishing college.

I am only brewing from extract at this point. I have been getting supposed from Midwest Supply. I have been getting kits for 29-35 for 5 gals. I am now past the payoff point. ;). Drinking the profits at this point.

I almost ran into an emergency like yours, Ray... if it wasn't for the leftover PBR all the alcohol I would have had was Tequila, and I don't drink tequila... ever!
Many a messed up night with boons. [Coffee]
