Do you have a fire arm with in arms reach?

Are we limited to one? I have a G19 and a PF9 at my desk. Just out of reach (I'd have to get out of my chair and take a step) is an SU-16B.

Yup.!

Nighthawk Custom Talon II (my edc)

When I head to bed, nighthawk goes in the safe and M&P Vtac with Streamlight TRL-1s comes out and carries bedside duty.

I'm sitting in the rocking chair with my M&P on my hip. The only time I don't have it within arms reach is when I'm at work.

I'll occasionally pull an AR out of the safe and carry it around with me in the house. Just 'cause.

5ft away from me is M&P 40 w/ TLR-1s attached.
1-2ft away from my wife is G26.
On that same drawer, it has FOX 2oz OC. Extra mags for M&P and G26. Flashlight.

We are working on Quick grab type ballistic vest/carrier with accessories + First Aid kit.

Fire arm? Nope, no one's arm is on fire here, any day of the week. We do have firearms close by at all times though..... It's a USP.

I do but i am afraid it is defective as it has not killed anybody in the 7 years i have owned it. Has anyone sent back a Glock for warranty work with this problem? Did they fix it?

I don't believe in guns. I prefer to solve my problems with common sense rather than violence.

But, since the rest of the world gets a veto, Glock 23, spare magazine, Zero Tolerance 300, and Strider DB-L.

Oh, and a chocolate-chip-cashew cookie, just in case I'm attacked by a guy who's bulletproof but also diabetic with a nut allergy. Or in case I want a snack.

G17 for cooking/dishes. If I'm cooking something intense or special, I'll sling an AR.

S&W 642 on the night stand, xd sc .40 in my travel bag. Wife has a p-89 in the night stand at home and 20ga 870 under the bed.

Polite lil .357 snubbie if I'm going to King Soopers.

Glock 19 with a spare mag for interacting with the Wal-mart crowd.

Remington 870 for bumps in the night.

SIG P226 to go with my heels when I'm feeling sassy and frisky.

Dave
05-06-2013, 07:33
Use the snub .357 for most concealed carrying since it's all I have a holster for at the moment. Beretta M9 in the night stand safe with 2 mags of JHP along with 8 rounds of 12 gauge low recoil 00 buckshot that can be loaded into the Mossberg 500 under the bed. Going to be getting holsters for a Sig P2022 and a Bersa Thunder Plus soon to have additional CCW options.

Like that grandma in the story says "Afraid? I'm not afraid of a goddamn thing." [Beer]

I always have at least one within reach... Sig P229 9mm on my hip or if not it's on top of the nightstand, then G22 in the nightstand drawer, Springfield 1911 GI Champion in my desk, and a Mossberg 590 next to the desk keeping my PC tower company.

At night and after we are in bed and sound asleep, if I were to wake up to a loud noise in the house or some jack ass pounding on our doors, I"ll just poke the wife in the ribs to get her to wake up and then SUGGEST that SHE go check out who in the hell would be pounding on our door, breaking a window or moving furniture. As a backup, there will be some ample artillery readily available. [LOL]

Thought I'd better edit this to add the smiley just in case my Mrs. were to see this post.
