I went to harris park yesterday and made about 5 trips from my car to the area we were shooting and it made me thing that I need to come up with a way to get all my gear in some sort of consolidated box. I have some steel targets, paper targets, tape, staple gun and other random stuff. I have a range bag that I put my magazines, and clean gear in, but I dont want to have 15 bags to carry my stuff in.

So lets see some pictures of what you use to store all your stuff in for travel and range.

1 dual long-gun case with lots of pockets for mags, ammo, pistols, etc and 1 duffel range bag for everything else. I don't carry around steel targets.

Yup the voodoo tactical dual bag and a timbuk2 bag. It's my 3Gun kit.

What you need is one of those golf carts that's converted to hold long guns! Always cracks me up seeing some of those old men cruising around sporting clay courses on their personal modified golf cart with about $20k worth of shotguns on the back.

Those clear, plastic "Tupperware"-like containers from Walmart/HD/Lowe's, etc. I use the clear ones so I can see what's in them. That along with an ammo can or two (the bigger ones, "Fat 50") and I'm good.

I kinda like Jim's idea though! But is that golf cart loaded or chambered?

I have a 5.11 range bag that holds all the heavier or bulkier stuff. Got it from L.A. Police Gear for $40 on sale. If I'm going light or don't have as much stuff to carry, I try to fit it all in a 36" Voodoo tactical double rifle case.

Shit I wish. I'ts a truck full of stuff when I go shoot. No way around it, believe me I've tried.

Didn't know it until last week when I showed up to their site in Broomfield to fix one of their servers, but Allen gun bags are made here in Co.

At the range Unloaded, with empty chamber indicator, OR bolt open. slide locked back,

No public sales though. I have a few of their soft cases for rifles.

^ That's how I store it in the basement [facepalm]

Since I don't take everything I own shooting each time I pack my range bag according to which guns are going with me. The standard stuff like eyes and ears, stapler, tape and stick on targets stay in but gun specific tools, magazines and stuff like that gets packed for each trip. I like the open top tool bag because it keeps stuff sorted. I use this one.
