So my baby girl is turning the big ONE end of this month. Im planning a party june 15 but stuck on finding a location. I was kinda hoping for a farm type party but havent been able to find any place close to denver. So my question is does anybody know of a place with animals that does bday partys. Maybe 50-75 people but i doubt tjat many will show. Thanks.

Farm type settings:

Denver Botanic Gardens: http://www.botanicgardens.org/plan-your-visit/facility-and-garden-rentals/chatfield/childrens-birthday-parties
The Urban Farm (up in Stapleton) : http://theurbanfarm.org/animals/ (I don't know if they offer birthday parties, but you can always call and find out)

Congratulations on your baby girl turning one! :)

My advise is to skip the location and have it at home. At one they will never remember it, the party will be mostly for the adults.

Now when my boys where from 5-12 we had some epic unforgettable parties, Fear Factor, Pirates, and pool parties.

Yep, I have little one's too. I'm on board with having it at home and doing what it is best for you. Have it at home, if there are other kids coming rent a jumpy castle or something along those lines...

Jumpy castle are the shit, that is for older kids. I would also do it at home and save your money for when she is older. Daughters are very expensive, as you will so find out.

Ditto on this for age 1. May as well have it somewhere you want as the kids won't care. We did 1 & 2 at home and started with the parties at 3. Trust me, they get more expensive as you go might as well enjoy while you can.

I'm with the majority. Save the big birthdays for when she's older.

Home doesnt work. In laws are not welcome at my house so a puplic place is better. Maybe ill just stick to a park lol.

You know, you can get a LOT of mileage out of a park and a variety of balls- Walmart has those great big colorful balls that little kids love to kick around for pretty cheap. Plus, you can grill at a park and make a cookout/birthday party. Have the usual cookout stuff and a big vat of chowder or chili to make it a notch above a standard picnic...and of course, cake.

Bring lots of paper towels. Your little girl will have an absolute blast, no matter what you choose.

Stay at home like everyone else said. I did this for my daughter and she doesn't remember a thing but everyone else does.

In-laws not allowed in your house, how do you get away with that one? You the man.
