Buy it up while you can.
So we know the government wants to disarm us, question why. It's not public safety. WAKE UP OR YOU WILL BE INSLAVED

To directly quote Ernest Gaines,
“Question everything. Every stripe, every star, every word spoken. Everything.”
And to directly misquote Ernest Gaines;
“Why is it that, as a culture, we are more comfortable seeing two men holding hands than holding guns?”

Its funny how they try soo hard to cover it up, but the problem is, the simpletons don't see it for what will really happen. they don't see their semi auto 9mm handgun will be banned. they don't see their 10/22 rifle will be banned. they think only the ar15s and AK47s will be banned...nope

I just saw the EVIL BLACK HELICOPTERS land in my neighbors yard!!!! I think they are after his 10-22, which sucks cause he just bought it, 1 box of ammo and some hearing protection today. I heard them say something about, "we gotta stop this sort of thing before it gets out of control". Now what are we supposed to do?????
Wait someone is at the door.....
All my guns tip over in my canoe today, when I took them out for their daily outting.[NoEvil][Cry][Cry] All of them are at the bottom of Jefferson Lake.
I hate it when that happens. The few that I didn't lose in my boating accident I sold today to some guy in Colorado Springs for cash. I feel safer now that I don't have any guns around.
Yes, after the boating and the giving them away, ( the ones that would not sink)
I feel so much better now, and ofcourse....now I'm safe

PEOPLE! Jefferson Lake is a known canoe-tipping firearm-eating porthole to the underworld! Never take your guns boating on that lake.
I grounded my canoe on the pile of guns last time I went up there (unfortunately I tipped when I hit it and all my guns fell out)
Dang it all to heck!!! Today was gun cleaning day and I made a huge mistake. I got my gun cleaning solution mixed up with my 100% pure anhydrous nitric acid. Yep, I soaked them all day in the wrong stuff and poof!!! now there's no evidence that they ever existed. Everything I ever owned gone in a flash. After I put out the fire in the back yard where everything took place I realized all my ammo, gun cases, accessories, and even paperwork, all gone. Crap, I feel so much safer with all that out of the house. [Bang]
So I guess we hide out from the fourth reich. BTW the bail out is up to 5 trillion. The dollar will soon collapse and the world bank will bail us out with a new currency. Our treasury is owned by global bankers now.
Make it $6 Trillion. They'll just need to run the presses a little longer.

I watched that video and I wish I could say I was shocked at the lack of information and ignorance of the voting public. But I'm not, sad to say. How else could we have elected a socialist except out of total ignorance? Many people could come around if they could get educated but how do you educate people who spend more time worrying about American idol than their country?
It is very sad we are going to pay dearly for the ignorance of many. Thank you media, public education system and weak republican politicians for giving us BHO. I really hope it is you and not us that pay the heaviest price, but I doubt we will be that lucky.
You hit the nail on the head Chaffee 2 , ( the lack of information and ignorance of the voting public. ) [Bang] It still makes me want to puke just thinking about how dumb some people are. Why in hell would any self respecting, hard working American, want any part of Socialism? [Puke]
I do agree they are ignorant but,,, BO had a team of people all over romancing these idiots to vote for the "historic" first African/American muslim Mutt... it is OUR fault that these people are uneducated...

So much for "I support the Second Amendment," and so much for the notion of "change."
Media reports say President-elect Barack Obama has selected Eric Holder as his Attorney General, and that Holder may already have accepted the offer. Holder, as Deputy Attorney General under Janet Reno during the Clinton Administration, said that the Second Amendment does not protect an individual right, but instead protects the right to have a firearm when serving with a militia. After leaving office, Holder stuck to that assertion when he signed Janet Reno's brief to the Supreme Court in the Heller case, which stated, "The Second Amendment does not protect firearms possession or use that is unrelated to participation in a well-regulated militia."

"The Second Amendment does not protect firearms possession or use that is unrelated to participation in a well-regulated militia."
so start a militia with a bunch of inane rules- that would be a well-regulated Militia, right? [Luck]
Here is an odd one in the respect of a "well regulated militia", and I DO NOT support this in any way, but...!
What about a street gang? is that not, in a form, a "well regulated militia"? Unless you are looking at wanna-bes, they are usualy pretty well regulated by rules, guidelines, and a rank structure. There is usually an inforced dicipline too! Allthough their conduct is usually illegal, alot of them cary weapons(both legal and illegal). So under the belief that only a "well regulated milita" should have the right to have a firearm, dont these people qualify more than the average??? So should we just give all our guns to the gang bangers so BO can see the 2nd as he sees it written?
Its scary how things would work out if they followed logic... You know, its like EVERYTHING must be bent away from what it literally says into something that they believe in amd think is right(because they have gotta be different). But then they would probably deny what they all agreed upon eventually and find some nice little bill to pass and make it all OK... [Bang]

What do you need all of those guns for, anyway? If someone is breaking into your house, just lock your bedroom door and call the police. [PoPo] [Luck] [Whacko]

Jeez guys, do your homework ...
The phrase "well-regulated militia" in the days of the Framers meant well-trained and well equipped, not that they had a bunch of rules. The militia was also composed every able-bodied male citizen aged 18-45 who was not a Quaker or member of some other sect specifically excused.
As for the whole "militia preamble" try this substitute:
"The moon being made of green cheese, the Right of the People to Keep and Bear arms shall not be infringed."
Did the different preamble change the meaning of the Amendment?
If you haven't read Stephen Halbrook's That Every Man Be Armed then you should buy a copy, read it and then pass it on ... better yet buy two copies, so you've got one to keep for yourself.

I hope you don't honestly believe I was serious- guess I need to use more sarcastic icons...
my point about inane rules makes as much sense as Eric Holder's interpretation of the 2nd amendment...
sometimes my humor is a little too dry for forums- [Slap]

You know as well as I do that that reality doesn't apply in a courtroom, it's based on the opinions of everyone involved in the courtroom (lawyers, judges, jury members in the case of jury trials), and each side's ability to speak their point to convince those deciding... so if they can stack a court with people who believe what they want, then they can get away with it..
There is a large (& growing?) faction that believes the right to bear arms is a collective "the people", meaning only those that are organized and regulated, and that the concept of militias is obsolete, since modern policing is so much more efficient now, as opposed individual "the people"...
I believe this interpretation flies in the face of the rest of the constitution (and amendments), since they apply to individuals' rights, not those of collectives...

There are a number of books on the subject- good works by David Kopel, David Young, Clayton Cramer, Alan Gottlie- just to name a few

I get the sarcasm, but I'd like to illustrate how well this works where I live (for those of you in cities):
My 18month old son called 911 (not even out of diapers, and he was already responsible for having the law at my house)[Help]
they had to call back to get directions, and it was nearly an hour before the deputy arrived- then I had to hold back one of my dogs so she wouldn't shoot her.. (this dog hates uniforms, probably from being picked up by animal control before we adopted her)
this was a few years after I brought a map of our neighborhood to the Sheriff's office, so the dispatcher could help- an alarm was going off at a neighbor's house for over an hour before a deputy came speeding up my driveway, asking what address my house was- which doesn't help there, addresses are not sequential in my neighborhood- they're based on lot numbers..
When seconds count, the police are just minutes away.
The first rule of the militia is - you do not talk about the militia.
