I can imagine....B17 was one of my favorite airplanes from WW2. Have alot of books on the plane and the missions they flew. But 400 bucks is just too hard to handle at the moment...they do have a payment deal, 4 payments of 99 bucks hehe...might have to do that next time they come down.

Anyone see the B2 stealth bomber flying over Denver about a month ago? I can;t recall the exact date, was on a Sunday during a Broncos game. Was flying low and slow making wide banking turns.

I was at that game and it was awesome when it came over. I managed to get a picture on my cell phone but it didn't turn out very good. It passed over at the end of the National Anthem. [Wow2]

Good chance you'll see a B2 fly over the air force academy between now and next monday as it's the commandants challenge.

I often see a P-47 Thunderbolt fly over my house in Parker, but I can't find out where it's from. None of the airports around here will 'fess up to knowing anything about one. There's no mistaking the shape of the fuselage and the wings, the sound of the engine, and the speed of that sucker, it flat moves right along. I'd just like to see it up close.

There is a Sea Fury that flies out of Centennial airport. Wing is similar...never heard of a P-47 around here, but if there is one, I'd love to see it too!

Sea Fury huh? I suppose it could be one of those, I haven't gotten a real good look at it after all. Sumbeech is fast, I'll tell ya that.

I saw that one a few weeks ago while at work. Thought I was dreaming there for a second.

I was out changing the oil in Frau Quibs car when I saw the B-17 heading south. There’s no mistaking the sound of those radial engines!

On veterans day, there were 4 F-16's in tight formation that flew right over my house (along the hogback) and made a 90 degree turn to the north. They couldn't been more than 1,500 ft AGL....I could see the pilots! Makes me want to go flying again!

My wife and I were sitting around the house the other day and I saw a glimps of it out the window and my first thought was it was a Slurry Bomber going to a forest fire or refueling. But now I think it was the B-17 we saw. KILROY WAS HERE! (http://www.b17sam.com/bookorderpage.html). (http://www.b17sam.com/bookorderpage.html) I should of known something was up because it was heading East.
