I've never heard this before today.
Lord, make me fast and accurate. Let my aim be true and my hand faster than those who would seek to destroy me. Grant me victory over my foes and those that wish to do harm to me and mine. Let not my last thought be “If only I had my gun”; and Lord if today is truly the day that You call me home, let me die in a pile of brass.

I believe Johnny Depp's character, the sniper, was reciting that before his shots in the D-Day landing scene of "Saving Private Ryan".

I remember Mel Gibson reciting the first line in "The Patriot" before attacking the British convoy, but this is the first I saw of the rest of the saying.

I believe Barry Pepper played that role.

That's a good prayer. I still like the Boondock Saints one better, lol.

My dad thought Edward Burns' character was Ben Affleck. lol

It was Barry Pepper and you shall not insult Berry with confusing him for the anti-American a**hole Johnny Depp. [fail]

It's good too, but I think the OP's prayer is easier to relate to for the general public. Nevertheless, here: http://www.freewebs.com/sakate/boondockprayer.jpg

My head almost exploded thinking that Depp was in it.
Tom Hardy and Vin Diesel did have their first movie roles in it though.

I had trouble distinguishing the two as well
Somebody here has that prayer (the OP) as their signature, I just can't remember who... it is a good one.

Same. First thing I did was open up IMDB (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120815/fullcredits?ref_=tt_cl_sm#cast)
