i started reloading in general and with the 260 Remington cartridge specifically around 2004.

I messed-around with a lot of different bullets, different brass, different powder. Different primers.

I've wound up with somewhere between 1K and 2K of just "misc" that I don't really have a lot of use for right now.

I've got a Hornady Cam-lock bullet-puller, but I'm not sure how well the pulled bullets would shoot. I'd probably just dispose of the powder. Obviously I can use the primed brass.

Any ideas what to do with this stuff?

Shoot it.

I thought about that...

But I've settled on the Lapua 139gr Scenar at around 2800fps for right now.

These are mostly 120gr SMK's & 123gr Scenar, plus a bunch of 107gr / 108gr, and smattering of 95gr & 140gr / 142gr.

I'm not sure what I'd prove by shooting these other loads....?

I've never proved anything by shooting, except that I like to turn money into noise and that I like to have fun.

Shootin is shootin, have fun, practice the fundamental. You'll clear some room in your house and have brass that you can use. There's no other good solution for old reloaded ammo that I know of.

I'd have to agree with Foxtrot except that I've had no problem reusing the powder. I've always enjoyed plinking, but with one, known load. Not much point in just shooting it up, especially when you consider barrel wear. Pulling and reusing components makes a LOT of sense considering the escalating prices and current shortages, especially if you can use them in another cartridge, trade them for something you will use, or sell them.

Shoot it.

Made it down to the range on Wednesday.

Brought an old box of 123gr Scenars, loaded with VV N150 & assorted brass (mostly Lake City 308 & RP 260).

Shot GREAT!!!
