View Full Version : "Corncob" forend for a 870 Express...
Does such a thing exist? I'm slowly modding my cheapo 870 turkey gun into something with a little more utility, and trying to find something less chunky than the wood fore-end. I'd like something along the lines of what most Mossy's come with, preferably small enough to not cover the loading port when racked. The smaller/lighter the better. Closest I've seen to remotely what I'm looking for is the Magpul MOE, but it's still pretty bulky for my tastes. Any suggestions?

Something like these might be right up your alley. I've had experience with the Speedfeed forend as it came factory on the 870 tactical. I liked it, however a forend like that does open you up to pinching your hand between the receiver and the forend. Which I've done, and it hurts.

The Choate looks like just the ticket! Thanks!
the blackhawk one is pretty nice as well

Here ya go. I think it was cut down so it doesn't cover the ejection port. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=342722221
