There will never be another honest election here. [Bang]
Not surprised this went through... The CO Dems are nothing but a bunch of criminals. They continually prove this. With 2012, I don't think we will ever have an honest election ever again... here or nationally. If Dems secure the WH in '16, and the mid terms in '14, my suspicions will be correct.
Road trip!!! to every county in the state. I wonder how many times I can wave my Xcel bill and vote. I suppose I'll have to learn some Spanish first.
Let's see
Quiero votar.
There, now I'm set.

From my future grandchild's mouth... "Daddy, what were Republicans?"
All those "inactive" voters just became democrats. They'll get their ballot via mail and miraculously, they'll all be "voting" left.

Good one and probably not too far off the mark.

the Democrats, both state and national, care nothing about the Constitution. They view it as an impediment to their socialist, Marxist agenda for complete, totalitarian control. Whatever they can do to buy votes, they will do.

Will they have to show identification when they show up to register on the same day? Wouldn't that be rrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaacist?

No picture ID's required because they say that would be racist. A utility bill will be sufficient proof of ID.

So can I just bring a utility bill in instead of my ID to buy a gun? I don't see a goddamn difference.

FIFY.
Remember - vote early and vote often!
This is exactly what they want so they can selectively enforce the voter fraud laws. Not only creates the double-standard they want but also helps further the narrative that Conservatives are criminals and should be marginalized. Mark my words: election fraud by Conservatives will be front page news and by Liberals it won't even be investigated.
They just took the ballot box off the table folks. Think about that!

Don't worry, guys. There are plenty of democrat voters right on this forum who are going to change things from the inside. We'll be fine.

According to Boyles this a.m. that's part of what the outrage should be about.

Oh shit...[panic]
Well, for the unscrupulous folks out there, why not register as a democratic voter and simply vote for the republican/libertarian/pro-2a candidate "early and often"?

The worry here is that the Dem ground game, which destroyed the R ground game last year, will rally the troops, create more voters (that may or may not exist), and "bus" people around to vote repeatedly. All perfectly deniable and can be blamed on overzealous organizers; MoveOn, anyone?
So how to vote out someone that may well have a November Xmas present coming next year?

I think Hickenlooper will be on to the national stage bye then, we'll have a different (D) to run against.
This will have some serious effects on all our plans to oust the Dems in 2014 !!
Looks like I'm moving in 2014.

I would be dead by then, I WOULD NOT stand idly by.
I believe I wouldn't be alone.

To where? Alaska? Be about the last bastion of anything, because if this sets the stage the lower 48 are fucked.

Yup, no point in moving. Fight it out on familiar territory with people you already know.
Maybe I have family where I think I'm going....
I don't plan on standing my ground with potheads and libtards on all sides. Hell, even a bunch of folks on this forum won't stand up for their freedoms. They get incensed when someone legally open carries as it sends out the "wrong message"

It can work in a positive way as well. I know a lot of Republicans that didn't get off their butts and vote last election. Sorry but I feel that was part of the problem. If Republicans get the ballot in the mail it may motivate them to get their act together and vote Hick the hell out!
I wish I could say I'm surprised by this. [facepalm]

Pretty much finalized my decision to put CO in my rear view mirror, I wasn't committed before this, was holding out thinking we might have a chance to win some seats after the recalls, but this will fix the dems firmly in place and gain them seats.

I know a few people who were unable to vote in the last election due to various rules and restrictions (designated polling areas open only during business hours and not accepting a CO DL as an acceptable form of ID), but I agree that "instant registration with a utility bill as ID" is a really bad idea.

'When an opponent declares, "I will not come over to your side," I calmly say, "Your child belongs to us already.... What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community."' -Adolf Hitler

On Friday, I bought a firearm and had to show a driver's license (plus fill out a form with place of birth, height, weight, etc.). I also went to Best Buy to pick up an A/V Receiver that needed servicing, guess what? Had to show driver's license to pick that up. Had I wrote a check somewhere, I probably would have had to show my driver's license for that, too (I guess it's been years since I wrote a check anywhere, so I am speculating).
But for some reason, showing a Driver's License or CO ID card when voting is just too damn hard?
Here's what slays me... forging a utility bill isn't even illegal. I can carry a stack of them around in my hip pocket, and if stopped by Charlie Cherry Top there would be no problem whatsoever. Why is a utility company suddenly the gatekeeper to identity?
I say we pass a law that exercising the right to keep and bear arms carries the same identity requirements as exercising the right to vote.
Now if an officer stops me I just hand him my Xcel bill for my Concealed Carry. I'll keep a copy of my Comcast bill with me for when I pick up my next lower. New 1911? Here's my Verizon bill. That's all cool, right?

Why is a utility company suddenly the gatekeeper to identity?
Simple, because the Dems are in power and it makes their future agenda easier to achieve.
The Democrats have a long history of voter fraud.
Why is it so important for them to get folks registered? That tell them how many ballots they can stuff in the box.
