Reminds me of the episode on X-Files when they had that VR game come to life

The controller in the op looks nifty, but it still keeps your fat ass on the couch.
I'm looking forward to something like this (http://www.extremetech.com/extreme/153919-omnidirectional-treadmill-oculus-rift-at-home-virtual-reality-finally-arrives):

looks neat but honestly you need to write the game to a gun not the other way around. Every one I know like to sit back and play a game with the least amount of movement possible.
I agree that it is a cool concept, but for multi-player gaming it has a very slow response rate for up & down movement. If the Razer Onza controllers weren't made with crap internals by 8 year-olds they would definitely be the gold standard as far as I'm concerned.

If I want to shoot a gun I just shoot a gun
i don't think you can make one effective. it needs ot be crazy sensitive for multiplayer gaming, yet not too sensitive. plus, people like to eat and drink while they play, tough to do with a motion controller.

the FPS genre is so hypocritical EA just announced that they will not be partnering with any real life arms manufactures like they have in the past becuase it encourages people to buy real guns...instead they are going to use brand names of guns without paying for them...WTF
From someone who plays FPS games exlusively, from me, this controller gets a solid: meh

That's mega lame
Probably my favorite part about MOH is that the guns are all legit.

Like Jer says, meh... Although BF4 will suffer if this is the case. We don't need more confusion and idiocy running around... I remember the era of Goldeneye, one guy I went to HS with still calls the AK-47 a KF7. [ak][Shake]

I call my AK47 an AN-94 and my AR15's a Commando. (Black Ops anyone? lulz)

Something to try in the store, but gimmicky. Could be that they improve it in the future (like how people are coming up with all kinds of neat things with the Kinect), but a standard controller is just fine for me.
