Early Firearm Patents

These are a few firearms patents from a 1951 book titled The Firearms Encyclopedia by Shelly Braverman. Glad that helmet mounted gun never caught on.
The book is in a heavy 6 ring binder configuration, it looks like they mailed you the sheets as they were published. Anyone else know about this publication?

I don't know about he book but I have spent hours wandering around the US government patent web site looking at patents. Fascinating stuff. I haven't done in a while though.
