Okay, now that we got that out of the way....

i have a shotty that's 2+1, with no limiter.

Could I cut short the spring to have a 3+1?

Would that cause feed problems?

The problem I see, is if you shorten it you may not have enough spring length to chamber the 3rd round. Might have to shorten it with a shorter stronger spring.

What kind of shotgun is it? I have a old 870 that's some weird make they did at one point and I just added a magazine extension to it.
