View Full Version : Who's familiar with the I-25 and Colorado Blvd area?
My brother is coming into town Sunday night. He's staying somewhere near I-25 and Colorado Blvd.
I don't know the area but was hoping to find someplace to meet up with him and have dinner and a couple of beers.
Anyone familiar with that area have any suggestions? Must have good beer.
Thanks. [Beer]

There is a restaurant behind the Hilton Gardens called World of Beer. I have no idea if it is any good or not. I would recommend trying it out and letting me know. Kthanks.

Hacienda Colorado has pretty good food and tequila! Just north of I-25 on Colorado.

There is an Old Chicago and Hooters close to there.
Dave and Busters there, Old Chicago not far. Twin Peaks at Arapahoe

If only the Lazy dog was still on Colorado and Mexico, that place was great! There is an Old Chicago just North of I25 on Colorado, and a Beaujos pizza on Colorado and Yale. If you haven't tried Beaujos I highly recommend it.
I knew about the Dave & Busters.
Keep the suggestions coming.
Thanks, guys.
Hooters on Colo Blvd closed down:(

Hmm. Did I mention my wife will be with us? Not sure she would enjoy it as much as me and my brother. [Coffee]

Agree, it's where the Lazy dog used to be, I've only been to Hacienda once, but it was a good experience.
Another vote for Hacienda. Decent food, cold beer, and good tequila.
Cb and Potts is really good right there at 120th and Huron. Chilies and hooters in the same area but I think hooters closed.

Hands down make the drive to twin peaks. I go there for lunch from time to time and clients love it. I also notice a good number of women that go there. Food is good and scenery is great
Heck, the Tilted Kilt isn't horribly far away. Maybe we'll just go there.
Thank you all for the recommendations.

Good pick I love that place.
Shotgun Willies and Hooters! lol. Otherwise just drive a half mile north on Colorado and there are dozens of great restaurants around the Cherry Creek Mall area. The Cherry Cricket being one if you want a great burger and beer in a semi dive bar setting.

Yuppie ville
AAA and C-DOT are both right there. You could get some maps and carry-on compliant luggage at The AAA gift shop, then go across the street and take some photos with some snowplows.
2nd vote for the Cricket. Good burgers, lots of beverage choices, terrible parking.
I still think REI when that intersection comes up.

The Cricket is good - there are about 100 places to eat in Cherry Creek just up the road a bit.

Bull & Bush is kinda near there. It's been a while but I remember them having good beer.
