Yet another FNG joining!

Former "Bubblehead" (Submariner), '83 - '93, qualified Expert rifle/pistol on USMC bases rather than the Navy way (quals were a joke).

I work as a Computer Systems Engineer (PKI), enjoy shooting whenever possible and miss riding my motorcycle (was in a pretty bad accident on April 25th, fortunate to be alive), but will have a new bike soon enough!

Currently own a STAG-15 Model 3, Glock 21, Glock 23 and working on acquisition of a few others. :)

Thanks for the welcome!

I too, am bummed that I had the accident. Unfortunately, some clown did not secure their load of silt fencing, and 3 miles south of Platteville, doing 65...the car in front of me swerved and I had .53 seconds to react. Still working to see if I can find out 'who' the somebody was...but not counting on anything.

11 days in the hospital, emergency spelenctomy to remove my 'soupy mashed potatoes spleen which was bleeding out internally), 4 broken ribs (left, rear, ribs 4,5,6 & 8), bone chip in left ankle (still there) and messed up left knee.

Good news is I'm still alive and as ornery as ever!!!

Welcome KoalaCowboy, Glad you made it through that wreck. I don't ride on the street anymore because of all the bad things that have happened to me and my riding buddies. It's just not worth it anymore to me. I guess you can tell I'm getting old. [ROFL2] Be safe!

Too bad about the accident but hang in there. At 62 I'm having fun with my Suzuki DRZ even though I've had bad accidents too. Thirteen pins and a plate in my elbow, one pin in my ankle, broken L1 and L3, hairline fracture in my pelvis, broken wrist. It took three surgeries, over 12 hours total, and two years of physical therapy to get back to normal activities.
