I've heard pretty consistently that Moly coated bullets should not be used while breaking in a barrel. So, when can you use them? I've got 100 rds through a new barrel. The copper fouling really dropped off significantly after only 16 rounds. Is it safe to use them now? Or, should I use them at all? I ask, because I have 100 rds of this stuff I'd like to try:

Break in with moly if fine but going back and firth is not really great as copper and moly do different things to the steel. I would suggest pick one and stick with it. If you go with moly remove your copper and build up a moly layer its kind of one or the other.
Moly is fine to use. But once you start, stick with it and dont mix it up. I shot Moly up until last year when I switched to Boron. In fact, I still have lots of moly coated bullets left that I just have not tumbled the moly off of.

Moly coated bullets have their fans but even though it is a long read, you may very well have a different opinion when done: http://forum.snipershide.com/sniper-hide-gunsmithing/37176-objective-research-barrel-break-procedures.html
Very interesting read BP, sure are a hell of a lot of opinions when going through the comments. The break in procedure seems to be a waste of time and the cleaning can do more harm than good unless done properly. Thanks for the post.

If you got those two points from the read, you are ahead of the game. Most refuse to believe.

Thanks for the responses, guys. I think I'll just stick with copper, since I only wanted to try these out to see how they ran. I appreciate the advice.
So.... Anybody wanna buy 5 boxes of Monilithic Munitions 130 grain (Norma Diamondline moly) ammo in .260 Rem?
