Many thanks to pickenup, spleify and Jim!
I gave Austin his first .22 in February for his 8th birthday and we've been waiting for the perfect day to go plinking for the first time. Today was the day! He had a blast and did pretty freakin well for his first time.

Good stuff!! There is nothing quite as magical as a little boy to be able to put holes in stuff from a distance. I remember the feeling from the first time I went shooting.........each time I pull the trigger today the feeling is still there.

That right there makes it all worth it! Man that is an awesome picture. The kids are our future and I just want them to have the same opportunity that we had!
Thanks so much for sharing the photos!
Glad you both had a good time. I would like to applaud spleify and Jim for helping make this happen too.

It never ceases to amaze me the quality of the members here in giving back to the shooting community. Generous in spirit, both materially and in knowlage! Right on guys!
