Machine Gun Shootout

A few years ago there were some plans for a Machine Gun Shootout in Byers, CO...but it got cancelled.[MG]

Any info on:
1) Near term (or any term) plans for this event ? (Is it Gone forever ?)
2) Next closest (in relation to the Denver Metro area) event similar to this ?

I figure HB1224 will put a damper on any possibilities of "recreational rental" at such a Colorado event.

I felt better about this after reading the Colorado Attorney General's interpretation of the new law.
