I purchased a no-name mag from Denver guns and ammo around 2-3 weeks before the Boulder Airlift took off. I decided to run a comparison at the range this past weekend between Pmag, Battlemag, and the no-name mag. The no-name mag jammed 4 times in a row with each jam occuring with the feed of the second round. Essentially it would feed the first round when I charged the weapon and jam on the next. The Pmags and Battlemags performed perfectly and this is the first jam I have encountered with this gun. The only identification on the mag is "Made in Korea" on the bottom and 5.56*45 on the side. It came in a plain clear plastic sleeve. I would not buy this for any price and would not recommend them to anyone.

"RWB AR15MAG Magazine AR-15 223/5.56mm 30 Round Polymer, Black
We have tested these in both semi and full auto rifles. They are great, we were impressed and use them ourselves!"
Quoted from the website listed above. Its so convincing I am going to buy more and put them first in my line up. Man its hard to type sarcastic!
Thanks for the link. Now I know what they are called.

It got to be true if its on the internet.
Everyone knows polymer mags are junk. What were you thinking?

It was a one time deal. One mag out of curiosity. Kinda like a free one-way camel ride.

Well, It's good you found out on a range day instead of being the poor sob who immediately thinks "This is part of my HD rig" without testing it. Also, you now can practice all those fun malf drills if you want to!

I did like the exercise, but it ruined a round every time it jammed and that pissed me off. I am glad it was range day. In reality I should not have any mags around that arent proven performers.
Made in Korea...Says it all.
Anything that I ever encountered that was made in Korea was cheaply made and inferior, even KIA...
One thought might be, if you choose to try it, perhaps change out the spring & follower with a Magpul spring & follower. Then give it a run and see how it goes. If it still performs like a [pileoshit], then it rules out any doubts at all whether it is salvagable.

You just gave me a good reason to go back to the range. This does demand a deeper investigation. What is the easiest way to get mag parts? Online or local?
I was at Gander last friday and they have a ton of these. I think in 2 packs, they had a couple no name poly mags. I'm sure they will sell them all.

For the most part I will agree. but then there are the Daewoo's. Just saying.[Flower]

Ah this is true!!
I guess there are a few exceptions.
Wonder why is that? Could be that all the mags and other trinkets were made just for export and the Daewoo's were originally intended for their own military?
