"New Posts" acting funky

When I click the "new posts" link, i'm getting 39 pages of posts. This is inconsistent with my last log in.

I saw it too.
With some comment like "no updated posts below but some unread"
Now it's normal again.

I clicked "mark forums read" and that fixed it.
