Pay someone. Really, i bet you on CL you can find like 10 guys who will rototill for like $30 or $40 a huge garden. You can't rent one for that.

I rented one for 4 hours from home depot for a large one. It was just over $100 by the time I was said and done.

What size piece of land are you looking to till?

When a friend needed one for his garden, we went with Home Depot and it was a decent price for a hydraulic driven tiller. That said, the hard packed ground out there was a major pain in the ass if you have soft soil, it will be fine.
