i'm amazed at the prices some sellers are asking for their firearms, complete, kits etc. and how fast they are SOLD !!
While i say more power to em, i gots to know.
I post the same item for $50.00 less. their item sells i don't even get a pm?? do you feel a lowball (read: fair) price gives the impression there's something wrong with it?
or should i jump on the bandwagon and start selling my shit really high.
Inquiring minds want to know
stripped lowers in the $2-300 range and people are lined up posting "if buyer # so&so falls through i'll take it!"

People selling milled AKs for $1,400 that a year ago were $800!!
And people asking $115-125 for lower parts kits!!!

I say sell it for what its worth and not try to rip folks off... like others...
I'm gonna sit all this panic out and see where we stand in 6 months. There's no way all this panic buying is going to keep up indefinitely, and the CC bills are gonna start to come in for the buyers.
As much as it pains me to say it, more power to the sellers. If they can get $230 for a RAA lower and have buyers lined up, well go for it. Heck, after seeing several people interested in items at these prices, you might as well ask for more.

Jim you should do what your Conscience tells you to do. Personally I do not believe in gouging and selling a stripped lower for over 250 bucks is friggin gouging period. Stand up businesses are not selling these for these prices. I actually bought my upper barrel kit from them last year and it took 5 days to get to me and is very nice especially for 395 bucks.
People can say demand causes prices to go up all they want...thats total bullshit if your an honest seller. Unless supply is totally out of whack with demand then sell it for whats it is ACTUALLY worth. Just my honest opinion, not like it matters much
I about shit a brick at a local place that was selling a plain jane used mini 14 with a few junk mags and 300 rds of ammo for something like $1300!!!

at the same time there are those closet democrat voters who have joined the fray and think they need to get in on it too. those folks well................... i do have a $1500 AK for them :)

fair market price is actually a dynamic range and depends on both parties in the voluntary exchange. buyers try to pay the lowest price possible, while sellers try to obtain the highest price possible. the beauty of capitalism is that the buyer won't give you more money than the item is worth to them and you won't accept less money than the item's worth to you. yet somehow, in a voluntary exchange, both parties walk away from the sale satisfied. captialism really does kick ass. ask what you want for it and revise your asking price as necessary.

Today's "spot price" for those that actually HAVE any PMags with windows is around $45 just about everywhere, and you can usually add shipping to that. The ad you dislike was for nine USGI mags (not seven) and that would average out to a little over $10 per mag for them.
You don't like?
Don't buy.

People are really getting that much for stripped lowers!!!!!! I didnt know I was sitting on $2250 worth of lowers!!! but today and today only I will sell all 9 for $2220. any takers?
and then I will go get 9 more for 1200....then repeat. do people not know there are shops that have these lowers in stock?

Don't buy the sellers over priced wears you say? You needn't worry yourself, I won't. As for my comments about our resident conspiracy pontificating mouth piece needing to exit the country; well, I stand by the assertion and have no issue saying to his face as well as the rest of the tin foil hat conspiracy crowd. Many of whom have chosen this community from which to be the pulpit for their baseless rhetoric worthy of both the far left and far right of our admittedly polarized political system. Further more, not only do I in the strongest possible sense encourage them to leave this great country, but at the very least I would recommend that they return to BARFCOM where the majority of their weak minded brethren haunt, but then again (there is almost always a kink in a sound premise) at least one of them has been banned there at least twice. You HAVE to account for the PMags. They're a part of the overall deal (and price). When you take away thier $90 from the $200 asking price, you're left with $110.
Dealing with my "incorrect" math and the remainder, I get the other 9 mags for $110. That's closer to my "little over $10 per mag" than your $19 per mag.

You should be congratulated on your good fortune - but it's the EXCEPTION for buying PMags from those with any immediate inventory today. As for pricing and availability; the past is a known, but the future is not.
Not being a dealer, if i happen into PMags (or anything else) in a trade deal and don't want to keep them, I won't be pricing them so you can get a good deal. I'll price them according to what I have into them.

SSF - What did I do? Well I served in two combat zones just during my enlistment, fired my weapon at more than a popup target at quals. I'm not a Door Kicker, I'm not a member of the Pipe Hitters Union, but I am a combat veteran. I have taken and saved lives when my country has asked and I will continue to serve her as best as I can, for the rest of my life. I respect the service but your reactionary tripe makes it very difficult to respect the man. Oh and by the way, there are a lot of people on this board who have served a hell of a lot more than 8 years, some in combat, some not (contrary to popular opinion, sometimes the most willing find themselves unable to get into combat service or of more value in non-combat roles). Some are still serving.
