Can anyone direct me to the best place in Denver area for reloading components ? Mainly looking for bulk 55gn .223 bullets

Due to the realistic gasoline prices, I just took a swing to Cabela's in Sydney NE. for some ammo and such.

Not Denver, but for reference; I also checked for those same bullets. They were all out of ANY 55gr FMJ but did have Hornady's V-Max (plastic tip) for $16.99 per 100.

That's the closest I could find, but no cannelure.

Ash @ A&T has everything, he works Tanner each time. But when he's not at a show, getting him to unpack stuff from the trailer takes an act of Congress. He's in WAY south-east denver, think E-470 and Smokey Hill.

His number is 303-721-6173. He stocks powder, primers and bulk bullets.

Small rifle primers are real hard to come by right now. I suspect the panic buying of 223's has caused this. I found a few at Tanners on Saturday.

IMO reloaders corner is a joke.

Look up "Dad's Wholesale"

Don't tell anyone.

I like Dads, I don't have any problems with Reloader Corner I like talking to the guy.

The ones I do have an issue with are the people that are usually at the far end of the same row as Dads, watch how much they charge you in taxes, I called them out on it earlier this month and they didn't seem to care that they are charging 8 ish percent tax when Unincorp Adams is only 4.8 something.

If enough people go by and call them out, they will stop ripping you off.

I had planned on buying 5000 primers from them, had my money out and as I saw him hitting the calculator with the high tax rate I asked him . He said do you want these or not. NOT.

But as long as everyone else buys from him, I guess it won't matter.

Do you know his last name or what A&T stands for?

I did, but why start a new thread. I know he is still active in the business, as of last tanner or so.
