Welcome! We've got some incredibly knowledgeable members here. Don't be afraid to ask questions, but be sure to use the search function first or HBAR will get ya! [LOL]

Thanks all, I guess since Adam did such a good job introducing himself I should try a little harder. I loved the AR during my days carrying a M16A1 in the Army, but when I got out I never really thought about buying my own. Well the bug hit me hard last year and I recently picked up my first, here's to delayed gratification! I probably should have bought last year when I had cash, but I fell in love with a Mossy 590 Special Purpose. It's going to be an outlaw gun soon as well, so I guess it was good to get it when I did. I need a couple more parts to make the AR my own and some range time but so far I'm thrilled. I'm sure some will poo poo my purchase based upon brand names and such but I felt like I really needed to start small and learn what I like and need/want or don't. I love fly fishing, cycling, motorcycling, camping, snow shoeing in Colorado. There was a time I was pissed I got stationed at Carson, but once I got out exploring the state I never wanted to leave. Married a local girl 20 something years ago and she's put up with me since. Two wonderful sons, and I'm working hard to teach them to be strong men, fear God and love their country. I'll explore the forums some more before I start asking questions, and I'll be sure to use the search function... I know how some people feel about multiple threads covering the same topic! Thanks again for the warm welcome, I hope to get to know some of you in person and share some range time.

Ha! It's all about shameless self promotion my friend. ;-) Welcome aboard, from new guy to new guy!
