Guys,
I'm looking for opinions on brands of AR's. I need a carbine and a match rifle. I had a Bushmaster NM and it was a temperamental POS. I sold it as soon as I could, and I admit I'm a little wary of the AR's because of it.
Setting aside the current availability issues, which carbine brand would be best in your opinions and why, Same for the match rifle. I want to buy complete rifles not build them up (too many kits already!)
If I can get some good advice I'll get in line with a good vendor, and maybe have a couple of rifles in a year.
ETA: I'd also like to know why RRA is so popular, it appears to be a good brand at a reasonable price.
I appreciate any input you guys might have!

pick and choose you really can't go wrong.
biggest thing: look for someone who offers lifetime warranty. i.e. RRA, Anvil Arms
I have a RRA, 2 spikes, a doublestar, 3 anvil arms (soon to be 3 more) and they are all very good quality.
I have heard and actually seen a few problems with Superior arms lower receivers if you are looking at doing a build.
Another good one for a great price is Del-ton
Talk with alan at machine gun tours. He usually has sabre defense as well. I don't know much about these but have never heard a bad thing about them. Support the local guys if you can[Beer]

I always try to buy Colorado! Drove up to Jensen Arms today and picked up two very cool Remington 700 tactical rifles, great store and prices as good or better than on-line. Not an AR in the house though. Mike said he's sold over a million dollars in backed up inventory since the election!
I was up there 2 weeks ago and the AR racks were empty then. Prices were in line and they were very helpful. Really wanted to bend over backwards for you.
I went to two gun shops today and the sales men were not very friendly. One customer asked if they had .223 in stock and he brings out a tin of his own personal stash and was asking big $$$. When he opened it and the customer looked at the loose ammo he asked "is this Wolf" salesman said I don't know [ROFL2] (looked like it to me) and the customer said very politly "no thanks". The sales man slammed the lid down and slapped the hinges shut like he was pissed and told the customer that he isn't going to find it anywhere.
At Jensens the one rock river on the shelf was sold by 9:30. There were a few del-tons but most if not all of those sold. They have one S&W Ar in 5.45x39, and one used eagle arms with a trijicon. Its a good place to go and buy stuff.
If you go with any of the bigger names you can get a nice rifle. RRA's are a great buy and they make a good product. Sabre defense and LMT make outstanding firearms. I am not sure with what you mean by a "match" rifle. 3 gun, or a tackdriver? Either way sabre defense has models specifically geared towards those two activities. I wouldn't hesitate to buy any these: LMT, Noveske, Sabre Defense, Colt, RRA, ADS, CMMG, Bushmaster, DPMS and a few others I can't recall. YMMV.

By match rifle, I something that holds sub MOA, but not something that's going to be pointless at my current skill level. The Sabre A2 National Match looks like what I'm taking about. RRA has a really sweet A4 Match rifle.
ETA: Yeah Jensen's is excellent. a total PITA getting up there however. Wasn't looking for AR's specifically today, but they had a sweet DSA (FAL) STG Flat Top. That's whatcha call .308 goodness. [AR15]

That one was sold already, according to the guys. You weren't the guy playing with it and sighting down it when the one guy said it was already sold, were you? I was standing behind you. :D

Nah I didn't get to fondle it [Tooth]. I just saw it, I was on a mission today. I was after the controversial Remington 700 5R Milspec, but the damn CBI backlog meant I have to pick it up later. [Rant1]
Can't complain I guess, I got in the Tanner show got an IMBEL FAL receiver, at the pre election price (thanks Rayne!,) got my CBI done and was out of there by 9:45. I though that was damn near miraculous...
