Christie's filling in for him. This is not an improvement...

I have never killed any one, but I have read some obituary notices with great satisfaction.

ww2 vet deserves respect regardless of not liking his views on guns......

Yeah, I won't miss him.
Somewhat derail, sort of- talking with my brother this weekend, he criticized me for having no sympathy for Giffords, I replied "When you are the victim of violence and survive but then become a "crusader" against others' freedom, I do not feel sorry for you." Kind of the same thing here- I do not mourn the loss of someone who is described first and foremost "A staunch advocate for gun control." So long, sayanara, adios.

If I grin and giggle at random all day or week long, it's definitely not because of this. Honest.

Yeah, WW2 vet or not, he betrayed the principles he originally fought for. So fuck him.

Sad that his family or any family has to deal with the loss. My heart goes out to his family for that reason alone.

However, I am overjoyed for the country.

Not an ass, just truthful.

BTW it doesnt matter if it is a 2 month old, my 3 1/2 and 5/1/2 year olds still keeps me up late night by whining, arguing over the night lighte, closet door or getting in trouble.

I do not know the man, I dont not like loss of life period; however, a person is remembered at the end by the people they met and things they did in life.

He had his own opinion of things, which is his right as we all have our rights as long as those opinions dont take our rights away.

For that I will not be attending his funeral or sending his family flowers.

Usually seems these deaths occur in multiples of three. OK, old Lautenberg was number one, Edith (Archie Bunkers wife) was number two. Now maybe Bloomberg will be the third..... (I'm not saying that I HOPE he dies soon)

Benedict Arnold was a decorated Major General that fought valiantly against the British in the Revolutionary War before he became a traitor.

So no, simply serving as a Veteran is not enough to deserve respect (same goes for McCain ... so this isn't a partisan issue).

Don't forget Kerry! I respect Vets who served with honor and pride. Service does not guarantee respect.

Not going to miss him, prayers for his family.

Now, what will the governor do, who will he appoint? Bet it will be someone that will not cause any ripples in the voter base, someone that DC wants.

There is some talk that he might put Cory Booker up there ... further proving that Chris krispy kreme Christy is actually a big fat Democrat.

No one should be allowed to to be 89 years old and still hold a seat in congress. We are in desperate need of term limits. Sorry for his family, don't feel much one way or the other for him.

Yes, we need term limits, and have for quite some time.
No, Congress won't be eager to allow the public to vote on that.
