Meet the new boss, same as the old boss...
Like amputating on a corpse...the whole thing is rotten, what does cutting off a leg matter?

"Rumor" from last year after the election, was Holder to resign and the Acting ATFE Director would step up to the AG's job.
First thought is if they're willing to throw one of their own under the bus, they must have alot to hide.

This would just mean all knowledge of the nefarious dealings this AG has bestowed upon us would resign with him.
Not good.
Better to keep him there and somehow force some accountability out of his crooked azz.
Riiiiight.........

I'm of mixed feelings on this.
On the one hand, Holder is a schmuck and I'll be glad to see him go.
On the other hand he'll be replaced with someone just as bad (if not worse) AND the media and Democrats (redundant I know) will now be able to claim that a high ranking head has rolled so its time to drop Bengazi, Fast & Furios, the IRS scandal, the AP scandal and any other scandals. The buck will stop with him and so will the pressure on Obama.

Sadly I think this is what will happen. Obama will come out of this squeaky clean if Holder resigns, and it'll be a clean slate for the administration with some new AG. Pending any new scandals (which I honestly expect), the A/V Wing of the democratic party (Aka the Media) will go very easy on the new guy and downplay any screw ups, like they're doing now. Cutting off the tip of the tail doesn't kill the snake, until Oblahblah himself puts in his resignation and/or is locked up the beating of the Constitution will continue with less bitching.
If he does resign, then i look for some sort of accident or "natural" causes thing in the near future. You know before he can write his memwazz.
He needs to resign his ass to a cell mate named tiny! This will be his Segway out and into teaching Ivy League kids how to be head of the ATF and break the very rules he supposed to be in charge of enforcing. How he is not in jail over F&F is beyond me.

oh bull****. He'll take pension or whatever and then make 6 figures on the lecture circuit.
Dummies in the Whitehouse should have left the media alone. They would have stayed complicit and none of these scandals would have gotten more than a mention.

Boo hoo for him, he gets early retirement as a rich man with no legal action, he will say he was a scapegoat, which he is, there is no way he did everything all on his own, the president will blame him for everything he can to make himself look better. Holder dissapearing into the background does nobody any good, other than the administration. He needs to suck it up and tell the truth. He needs to be dealt with like any other common citizen, he is after all our employee, Kind of like the guy who mows your lawn.
