Once he signs it is there unless another president unsigns it. All they have to do is wait until it isnt a major topic and a little backroom vote and it could become law. Obama has decided he doesnt need the states support like in the past, he will just do what he wants. He wants to leave a legacy when he leaves office. Apparently the joke of obama care isnt going to cut it so he is taking on guns, if that doesnt work then he will get millions of illegals in as citizens. One way or another he will be remembered. He was a nobody before becoming president, he wants history to remember his name.

The way i see it, the Kerry/O admin signs it, they run around beating their chests and the sheepole go along with it not fully understanding that there's a piece of paper that calls this BS unless another arm ratifies it (which it won't). Then the O administration will blame the congress and the UN will come in and help out the O administration get it passed in the senate, but it won't pass in the house. Once again, round around beating our chests saying look what we did, but the republicans don't want to play ball. My biggest fear is local .gov's trying to have the smurfs come in and help the situation out...ie chicago and MD

As SAnd pointed out, it doesn't take ratification by both houses. Only the senate ratifies treaties with a 2/3s vote.

Doubt they will make too much of a move anytime soon, they need to propaganda against gun ownership first and move slowly from there. As of right now all American gun owners together are the largest standing army on earth, UN ain't that stupid.
