I hate MD with a passion, and worse, my company is based outta there. I just shudder every time i have to go back there to do work...

According to the ACLU spokesperson, " the school should have been assuring him that he would be safe."

That sounds like a lie to me. Why is everyone so insistent that they need to feel safe. The most predictable outcome of birth is death.

The level of political correctness in the public school system these days is just disgusting.

I love the comments under the article....

"Wake up people! Our children are no longer being taught by rational, thinking individuals......" etc.

Like this is a startling new development. It's akin to the types who respond to every dismaying article with "yup.... time to start thinking about getting these jerks out of office".

Things have been in the shitter for a very long time, and they will not get better.

Yeah, if we don't talk about it that would certainly solve all the problems. Lets also stop talking about crimes like murder, rape, kidnapping, etc. If we don't talk about it, it won't ever happen!

Yay...looks like I may very well have no choice but to homeschool, especially after my kid gets suspended for something idiotic

But don't you know? It says it right there, in the Bill of Rights- "You have the right to feel safe and not ever feel offended... ever!" [facepalm]

You need lemon juice and a black light but I swear it is in the original document, just in super secret ink.

I know people in the Northeast that have grown up with this mentality and it sticks with them. When/if they have kids, the children will be raised to think that guns are the devil. Like it or don't, incrementalism and attrition will be the demise of shooting sports as we know them.

I'm A) thankful I grew up when I did and am not five years old currently, and B) thankful I don't have children growing up in the world as it has become.

Sure, we can push back, but the tide is turning.
