As of this moment the Dow is down 113 points, what will the FedRes do to boost the Dow positive or will they do nothing.

QE has to end some time, they can't just keep printing money.

we should run a pool on where the national debt will be in 2016. This isn't my entry but I'm thinking south of 25T.

The old "perception is reality". If you and I were to go to the bank, present a piece of paper that we say has value and then demand money, who would get arrested first?

you're being kind. :) don't forget about the ENORMOUS expenses of obamacare especailly when they add in 30 million illegals and another 10-20 million who come here looking for another amnesty. illegals don't buy insurance, they go straight to the emergency room...for everything. The unemployment rate is going to go back up and the number of people not counted by the dept of labor will go up.

as they push the gov expenses higher the gov will require more cash so they'll offer more treasuries. right now we're at 16.7T, I'll go high and say 28T by dec 31, 2016. I hope I'm wrong.

I will take Bernanke over Greenspan any day of time.

Greenspan input international finance, and geopolitical issues as a variable so much that he will lower the disc rate down to -1.25%.
Government has to pay banks to get a loan from govt. LOL
